What football clubs do you people support?

Everton FC

Just wish that motto meant something these days...

Chelsea, Celtic (a little Barcelona) and D.C. United. Summer time sucks because now all I have is D.C. United to watch and the quality level is a little (sarcasm) then my other teams but it will get me through until next season when Arsenal comes down with the plague, Highbury is destroyed by a freak off-season tornado and Chelsea reigns supreme. One can only hope.......

Well my football club may not be around for much longer. Bradford City are going through great financial difficulties and could be wound up at any time thanks to our former chairman Geoffrey Richmond (twat). We have to raise 500 grand before June 9th 2004 to ensure we can start next season.

I appreciate any fund raising efforts for Bradford, it really means a lot to us, especially from rival teams:glugglug: :hatsoff:

Manchester United all the way... I also support Celtic, Leeds, Real Madrid, and Juventus, Columbus Crew, River Plate, England and Holland.

Hate Chelsea because they are trying to buy there way to everything rather than building a team like Man United and Arsenal have done. Granted Real is the same way, but the only reason I support them is because of Zidane and Beckham. Zidane is absolutely amazing. So is Davids... to bad he went to a bastard club like Barca. But Chelsea have that attitude that we can buy anyone because we have a rich playboy Russian with money... and it kills the market and the game... plus it's a shame that they are firing an exceptional coach in Ranieri just because the powers with the money don't like him... they can have Kenyon, he's a bastard too. I had respect for Chelsea until Abramovich came along.

Cant say I am the biggest supporter of Arsenal, but I really respect them and truely love watching them play, it's a thing of beauty. Plus props on this years accomplishment.

But I am a Red Devil at heart. Loved them since the early 90's when I first came to love football, or soccer as they so call it here in the US.

River? ....oh how I am looking forward to the next couple of weeks.

In reference to your Chelsea/Man.Utd/Arsenal comment....it always makes me laugh when people say such things. You think they didn't do what Chelsea have done? Van Nistelroy, Ferdinand just 2 of the current lot, and before that Yorke, Cole, Cantona, Schmeichel all these players and many more all bought.

And as for Arsenal, of their side ONLY ASHLEY COLE came through the ranks, the rest of them Lehmann, Lauren, Toure, Campbell, Pires, Vieira, Edu, Ljungberg, Henry, Reyes....all bought bar Campbell who went on a bosman.

Furthermore, Chelsea aren't killing the market whatsoever, infact they are re-igniting a market that had gone stale. If it wasn't for Abramovich, West Ham's debt wouldn't stand at 40m plus it would be a hell of alot more.

And as for Ranieri, granted the way in which Chelsea have gone about things has been very poor........but to call a guy who has never won a major league title having been at Atletico, Valencia and then Chelsea with a shitload of money...to call him "exceptional" is a huge exaggeration in my book.

Exceptional coaches are people like Bianchi, Capello, Lippi, Ferguson, Benitez.....not someone who may be a nice man, but managed to take Atletico down!!!! With players like Hasselbaink and Valeron at his disposal!

The Oakland Raiders. Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were talking about REAL football.

Should be a good one between them two again...

As for the rest... I will give it to you that Man United and Arsenal have purchased some premium players to complete their squads... but look at what has come through the ranks of Man United... Giggs, Scholes, Butt, Neville Bros., Beckham, Fletcher, Fortune... enough talent that scatters through several national teams... same for Arsenal... as for Chelsea, they practically bought a whole new team and did just as well when they had their original team. And not killing the market? Would you honestly pay 25 million for Juan Veron? or 36 million for Adrien Mutu... they pay outrageous prices for players because teams are willing to sell them for those prices. Now the teams that are receiving the funds can no longer purchase quality players because other team realize they have that money and will jack up the prices of those players and so forth.... it's called inflation... its the very reason why 25% of European clubs right now are in financial crisis.

I know Ranieri is a great coach... look at what he had last year and how far he took them... as far as a fourth in the Premiership, their best until this year, and a Champions League birth... all without Roman's 500 million in spending... his problem this year is that he had the 500 million weighing on his back and 2 weeks to gel that team together... I don't know of any coach, not even Arsene or Fergie that could gel a team like he had in 2 weeks... just too many expectations... but having done that... he still took them to a 2nd place in the Premiership, a best, Champions League Semi's, a first, and only outdone by Arsenal's perfect season which will probably never happen again, and one bad coaching game.... it's just a shame Ranieri is a death of his own success... basically, the only reason Chelsea is what they are is because of him... not the 500 million Roman spent. I have no respect for Chelsea anymore because of Roman... I have no respect for Roman because he doesn't understand the passion and reality of football... I think he should invest some money and go to the River/Boca game so that he can fully understand what football is and what passionate fans can be like.

Think Maradona will make the game?
