The fact that everyone complains, but only about half the people bother to vote... and even less than that knows who or what they're actually voting for/against.

That's why I get such a kick out of people saying, "we need to throw all the bums out and get some new people up there!"

What new people??? And why would that make any difference? At some point, everyone in Congress was "new" too. It's not like they were born in the Senate or House. They were ALL voted into office. IMO, we have the government that we deserve. And we have only ourselves to blame.
