What are you reading now?

Ayn Rand - Atlas Shrugged

Haven't read it in years, but needed a refresher because of a hardcore Objectivist I've become friendly with recently. Still the same pile of cack I remember.

Flow, My Tears, the Policeman Said - Philip K Dick

This probably woulddnt crack the top 5 in my all time favourite "Dick" list (if I had one) but it still has everything I expect and love about most of PKD's novels.

Little Green Book: Lessons and Teachings in No Limit Texas Hold'em

been on a poker binge the last few months found it rather exciting so I am actually trying to learn the secrets of the game.

Re-reading "Common Sense, The Rights of Man..." by Thomas Paine. Should be required reading for all humans!

is there some sort of review/summary of this book I might be interested in reading this.

In Cold Blood by Truman Capote

After I'm done with that one I'll be reading The Devil In The White City by Erik Larson.

The Devil in the White City. Is that by Erik Larson the comic writer/artist? From Image?

:thumbsup:Love it. A Scanner Darkly was great too (have yet to see the film). Always been a big aficionado of PKD.

Check out the film when you can. It's probably the most true to form adaptation of one of Dick's novels. It's a really good film too. :hatsoff:

Thanks BB, will do. (Keanu Reeves starring I think??).

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
I just finished The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time and The Book Thief. I realize that they're "young adult" books, but both of these were recommended to me by my students. Overall, I found them both very enjoyable and they get a little extra credit for actually giving me something worthwhile to read.
