Re: What book are you currently reading?

Right now, I'm reading "The Fabric of the Cosmos" by Brian Greene, a non-fiction book on theoretical physics and string theory. It's the follow up to "The Elegant Universe" which I literally read the cover off of. I just finished (for maybe the third time) "Made in America" by Bill Bryson. It's a great book that chronicles the history of English in the United States. Anything that Bryson writes, I read. He's one of my favorite authors.

I'm hoping to get either Common Sense by Glenn Beck or Liberty and Tyranny by Mark Levin soon.

I'm reading a book called Drop Dead Gorgeous. It's actually pretty good. Started reading it yesterday and I'm almost half done. I had a hard time putting it down before bed, then I got really tired.

Chuck Palahnuiks new book Pygmy. I think maybe he's trying too hard to be different now. It's all through the voice of a terrorist pretending to be a foreign exchange student, and it's all in broken English, which can be very funny at times but difficult to read.

I just finished "Rum Punch" and have started "Get Shorty." I really like Elmore Leonard's style.

I tried to read "Invisible Monsters" when I lived in Brazil. Terrible book, the characters were too contrived. I hated that book almost as much as I hated John Steinbeck's "To a God Unknown." Which is saying a lot as I think of Steinbeck as one of my favorite authors and yet its one of the worst things I've ever read.

I thought Palahniuk was a genius after reading "Fight Club" but he may be a one hit wonder.

The Fountainhead... by Ayn Rand, not a funny porn knockoff :)
