She was one hell of an actress no doubt about it...Was a grim day in Ottawa sadly...I think another armed man is on the loose and all of downtown Ottawa was on lockdown

This also explains the expression of the S.A.A. when he was given kudos by Parliament. I thought that him killing someone was weighing heavy on him. But now I think it was because he knew how much worse it could have been.

He took the accolades with humility and no doubt deserved it, but I feel the role of Samearn Son, the unarmed Parliamentary security guard that was shot is just as deserving. He was the first one to confront the gunman, grabbing the rifle and pointing it to the ground (which is how he was shot in the leg), and alerting everyone inside about the threat. He's a hero in my books.
