The Federation Vessel is a custom build model.

The borg cube is a Borg Tactical Cube. Known from StarTrek Voyager.

As an engineer, Babylon 5 always appealed to me ...

I rather enjoyed the "realistic" internal design/layout of ships in Babylon 5.

The "standing" Star Fury which had to deal with realistic physics and inertia to all the Earth capital ships.
After all, if you were going to build a man-piloted space craft, you'd likely be standing in it.
The only ones where you may sit are the trans-atmosphere fighters (the Star Furies were space-only).

Then there are the Earth capital ships, especially the Omega Class with its rotating mid-section.
All had people "strapped in" because, yet again, there is no such "advanced technology" as artificial gravity.
You had people "strapped in" on the sides, the roof, etc... of the bridge for maximum usage of space in the ship.

As the saying goes, "don't apply a Star Trek solution to a Babylon 5 problem."
