Or we could just call it, getting "Merkeled"

At least after January 20th we'll no longer have an administration that buries its collective head in the sand about terrorism and radical Islam.
Well, considering we never had one that did, that won't be much of a change :dunno:
never to be forgotten: Bush's rhetoric regarding this matter was almost identical to Obama's - for a very simple, logical, strategic reason.
Muslim speaker admits, “There is no radical Islam. Islam is Islam”
Turkish PM Erdogan has commented on the term ‘moderate Islam’ often used in the West to describe Muslims who aren’t terrorists. Erdogan said, “These descriptions are very ugly, it is offensive and an insult to our religion. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it.”

Whatever the case, the bottom line is that each of the last two administrations have steadfastly employed the same strategic rhetoric regarding terrorism, for what should be obvious reasons.
As I recall it was the Department of Defense that labeled it such. Argued against altering it due to some sort of procedural issues doing so would have created? And has moderated that position to some degree since? I'm going strictly off memory here. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Are there any Germans on this board who would like to comment or express your feelings about your country again being the victim of terrorism?
Thank you for asking, Dino.
No problem. We are all concerned and victims of terrorism. I read they released the Pakistani who was arrested so the real guy is still out there. I hope your authorities grab him up quick before he can do any more harm.
