Jerry Lawer Attacks Bruce Prichard.[/url]
During Sunday’s WrestleMania XXVIII pay-per-view broadcast, Jerry “The King” Lawler referenced TNA Wrestling Senior Vice President of Programming and Talent Relations Bruce Prichard’s former WWE character ******* Love while expressing his disdain for John Laurinaitis’ white suit.
“That suit is so ugly, it would give ******* Love a heart ******,” Lawler said.
Prichard recently suffered a pair of ‘small’ heart attacks, causing him to miss the last set of iMPACT! Wrestling tapings.
As a reminder, TNA tapes iMPACT! tonight and tomorrow in Orlando, FL.
Lawler works about one to two days a week and does not watch wrestling. Premium Link Upgrade
How professional of him.Lawler works about one to two days a week and does not watch wrestling.
Why is he in a business he cares nothing about?
then how about vince bring in some other people? New *****... get younger. it is gonna have to happen eventually?! and BTW i said the same thing to my friend last night during WM... "johnny looks like ******* love with that suit on!"
I found it surprising that Hogan and Dixie let Flair attend the 4 Horseman HOF induction and that Vince let him appear while being under contract to TNA.
Angelina Love
After being excluded from the last set of iMPACT! Wrestling tapings, Angelina Love stated today on Twitter that she will appear on this week’s shows. She has not appeared for TNA since February 27.
Scott Steiner Continues Ripping TNA
Scott Steiner was released from his contract with TNA Wrestling last week. In response to his release, “Big Poppa Pump” slammed the organization’s creative direction Monday afternoon on his Twitter account.
“Can somebody send tna’s booking team of pritchard hogan (and) bischoff video’s from ring ka king..booking hogan in a sex tape wont help ratings..what an embarassment to TNA (and) spike tv. *******…” he wrote via text.
The former World Heavyweight Champion continued his verbal onslaught of his former employer and its figure heads into the night with the following messages:
- Read my tweats people, I am not blasting TNA if I do I will let you know.
- Right now im trying to save tna bcuz its the titanic and its sinking fast bcuz hogan n bischoff r doing the same bullshit they did to de …
- It took them 1 1/2 months to drive tna to its lowest ratings ever…the best way to save it is to jump off and be the v.oice for the guys …
- Bitter????I have nothing to be bitter about! I have a contract extension signed by TNA officials that under the circumstances i would no …
- Official that under the circumstances i would not sign
- Same thing they did to destoy WCW
- That cant say anything
Vince doesn't care. He doesn't care about wrestling. He says he is in the entertainment business. That's why it is now World Wrestling Entertainment, WWE.
That was shocking. Vince doing something out of his character.
TNA Programming News
During a recent interview about the new TV deal with Spike TV, Dixie Carter would not rule out additional programming airing on the network, noting that there will be “additional branding opportunities,” and “didn’t rule out the possibility of another TNA-based show on Spike or additional TNA-branded TV projects.”
“We look forward to working with Spike to help us build and extend the TNA brand.”
In the past, TNA had discussions about an X-Division themed show as well as a Knockouts themed show. The only new programming that came to life was the short-lived Reaction program, as well as TNA Epics.
New TV Deal
The new TNA extension with Spike TV is for two-years.
That means TNA will be on the air on Spike TV until 2014 under the extension, as the current deal was set to expire in the fall of 2012.

Al Snow's New Job
Al Snow has added talent relations to his work as a TNA agent. He is reporting to Bruce Pritchard and moved to Nashville, though he took up the job before Pritchard’s heart ****** so it’s not related to the latter’s health.
One source reports that he’s the top agent in the company.
Scott Hall arressted in Flordia
Former WWE & WCW star Scott Hall was arrested back on April 6th in Seminole County, FL. According to the report, Hall was arrested by the Seminole County Sheriff’s office at 9:31pm, but does not note what charges were filed. Hall was previously arrested in Seminole County back on July 5th, 2011.
Why Scott Hall was Arressted
Wrestling legend Scott Hall was arrested Friday after allegedly ******* out his girlfriend in a ******* fit of rage — this according to the arrest report, obtained by TMZ.
According to the report, cops were called to Scott’s Florida home over a domestic disturbance in progress around 5pm. When they arrived, Scott’s GF Lisa Howell informed police he had attacked her.
According to Lisa, Scott had been ******** for days and the two had gotten into some kind of argument. Lisa says she got into her car, and in a blind rage, Scott grabbed her by the throat and tried to pull her out of the driver’s seat.
According to the report, police confronted Scott — who appeared heavily *********** with an “unknown white secretion flowing from both sides of his mouth” — but he denied ever getting violent.
Police observed several signs of physical injury on Lisa — including red marks around her neck — so they placed Scott under arrest for domestic battery.
Scott — billed at 6’7″ and 287 pounds — required TWO sets of handcuffs.
But his problems didn’t end there — according to the report, Scott was so ***** … the jail refused to book him … so the arresting officer had to drag him to a nearby hospital to get medical clearance.
The physicians gave their thumbs up and Scott was brought back to the correctional facility, where he was finally booked on the domestic ******** charge.
Lisa has refused to press charges. So far, it’s unclear if the case will move forward.
Lars Ulrich Disputes Hulk Hogan's Metallica Claims
Lars Ulrich, the drummer for Metallica, recently spoke on Howard Stern’s show about several topics including Hulk Hogan’s claim that he nearly joined Metallica. Ulrich denied the rumors and said he doesn’t even know Hulk.
“You know what? I’m blessed or cursed, depending on how you look at it, with having more or less a photographic memory for pretty much anything that I’ve been a part of,” said Ulrich. “That one, when that showed up two or three months ago, I was scratching my head over that one. Unless he went by – I don’t know Hulk Hogan, I don’t know enough about him… I’m not a huge wrestling (fan) – if there was a whole thing that we had with him under a different name, but I certainly have no recollection of doing anything with quote Hulk Hogan end quote. That one, I was scratching my head on that one, too."
Hulk Hogan caught in huge lie
Back on January 26th, 2012, we posted a story on Hulk Hogan where he claimed in an interview that he almost joined an early version of Metallica and that he used to be good friends with drummer Lars Ulrich. Hogan said: “I used to be a session musician before I was a wrestler. I played bass guitar. I was big pals with Lars Ulrich and he asked me if I wanted to play bass with Metallica in their early days but it didn’t work out.” He added that he was a big fan of The Stone Roses and he used to play them during his workout sessions. He added: “I love the Stone Roses. They’re getting back together, right? That’s cool man. I used to work out to some of their songs.”
Then yesterday here on the website, we reported that Lars Ulrich, the drummer for Metallica, appeared on Howard Stern’s show and was asked about Hulk Hogan’s claim that he nearly joined Metallica. Ulrich denied the rumors and said he doesn’t even know who Hulk is! That one, I was scratching my head on that one, too.”
When asked earlier today about Lars claiming he didn’t know who he was, Hogan told me the following: @RyanClarkWZR yo clown I said I had my agent reach out to them and never heard back from them. HH
Although we may be “clowns”, Hogan has apparently completely forgot what he said back on January 26th, 2012. As noted above, Hogan clearly stated that he was “big pals” with Lars and that Lars had asked him to be a part of the band! “I was big pals with Lars Ulrich and he asked me if I wanted to play bass with Metallica in their early days but it didn’t work out,” Hogan said.
We notified Hulk of his direct quote from the earlier interview and we have yet to hear back. I wouldn’t bet we’ll get any sort of response but we’ll see!

Devon Nicholson, the man who is currently suing Abdullah the Butcher for giving him Hepatitis C, as well as WWE for withdrawing their contract after he tested positive for the disease, has continued to slam Kurt Angle for pulling out of the US Olympic trials. Nicholson, a Canadian pro wrestler, was on the Dawg FM Breakfast show from Ottawa, Ontario this morning trashing Angle for pulling out of the trials due to injury but continuing to work matches for TNA.
Nicholson also slammed Angle in his Facebook, saying: “Hey Kurt I’m bashing you publically. What are you going to do about it? Stand up for yourself or wimp out again?”
Nicholson previously challenged Angle to a shoot fight. He is doing so because he feels that Angle disrespected amateur wrestlers by pulling out of the US Olympic trials. For those who may have missed it yesterday, you can check out his challenge below.

*****, sweat and fears
Wrestling legend Abdullah the Butcher may cut himself, but he didn’t give rival Devon Nicholson hepatitis C
Lately, however, ***** has come to represent something else to the Butcher—an all-too-real threat to his finances and faux-sporting legacy. This past spring, just before his induction to the WWE Hall of Fame, an Ottawa wrestler alleged that he contracted hepatitis C during a 2007 match against Abdullah. Devon Nicholson, who had been building a following as another madman, “Hannibal,” claimed Shreve had cut him without permission, transmitting the disease via a razor blade he had already used on himself. In June, Nicholson filed a $6.5-million negligence suit in Ontario Superior Court, saying the illness cost him a shot at the World Wrestling Entertainment big time, and prematurely ended his career. This past week, Shreve’s Ontario lawyer filed a defence denying the claims and countering that Nicholson, who staged the bouts, not only consented to his injuries, but is himself responsible for the illness through his own negligence.
