Lacey Von Erich Training To Wrestle.

-- Lacey Von Erich stated on her Facebook page yesterday that effective Saturday (today), she begin formal wrestling training three times per week. She wrote: "YAY! My girls did so good monday, winning the gold for the BPs. I'm happy to be apart of the glory (not that I did much) lol I start training this sat. 3 times a week! Can't wait to get in the ring more! ;)Love yall!" TNA recently established a working relationship with the Orange County based Mach One Wrestling school/promotion to give company performers an official training location and as feeder of sorts for prospective talent.

Wow! Three times a week!

TNA's latest webmatch has Rhino squaring off against "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal.

Rhino and Jay Lethal finally see "air" time.

Shouldn't Lacey have learned how to do this BEFORE she went into TNA?

Well it's not like her family had a lot of talent anyhow. David was good in the ring and her Dad was OK. Just remember that Fritz was the promoter and booker, of course his lame ass kids got the pushes. The Von Erichs would not have been anything without the Freebirds carrying them in the ring. Lacey has a world class look, but if you can't bring it in the ring go home or just sit at ringside as eye candy.

Kerry had the look. The look of a star and the right guys to carry him to great matches. Kerry would have made it even with out Fritz.

Rob Van Dam, Desmond Wolfe, The Pope, MCMGs, and Generation Me are the only reason I DVR impact still.

I'm still begging for a Horsemen with Flair as mouthpiece and Styles, Desmond and Joe as a sick Heel faction.

Oh, I dig me some Doug Williams too.

Easy E, Hogan, Nasties, Orlando, Sting, Rhino, even Double J and Foley need to hit the road.

That was the problem with Kerry. He needed someone to carry him through a great match. He was Lex Luger before Lex Luger. He had a million dollar look but no ring savvy. His promos sucked and once he got whacked out on drugs he became more or less useless. He should have spent a lot more time in other territories working as a heel and he would have been a lot better off.

Without Double J there wouldn't be a TNA. :D

Hogan and Bischoff need to go.

Foley, Sting, and Rhino can stay.

Styles is a face. He's out of place as a heel.

TNA needs Mike Knox and Flair can manage him.

Tommy Dreamer: 'I Have Been Contacted By TNA.'

Tommy Dreamer recently did an interview with Phil Strum of the Poughkeepsie Journal. Some highlights:

On what he will do next: "I have been contacted by TNA. May go there. If not, I'm very, very happy and content. I'm seriously working every weekend up until right now to September straight. I did two movies, I've been writing two films that I'm hoping to get sold. It wasn't just a spur-of-the-moment thing. I've been working on this for quite some time." Note: Dreamer's no-compete clause will end on April 5, as his release was official on January 4.

On TNA's move to Mondays: "Not the smartest move on TNA's behalf. I learned with the original ECW: the WWE machine cannot be destroyed. Nor should it be. There's enough piece of the pie. To go head to head wasn't the smartest move for a lot of different reasons. Everyone makes their mistakes. The ratings the first week were not good and favorable. Hopefully, they will continue. I think they had their niche on Thursday nights. They should have stayed and maybe just done specials on Monday nights."

On Monday night being "wrestling night": "If NBC had Thursday Night Football and wanted to move it to Mondays. Why? If we're all wrestling fans, we want to watch wrestling any day of the week. Just like, if I'm a football fan, I want to watch it Monday, Thursday, Sunday."

Monday Night War Ratings: How Did RAW & Impact Score?
by Matt Boone
Mar 16, 2010

The final numbers are in for the Monday Night War, week two.

WWE RAW scored a 3.7 cable rating, up from last week's 3.4 for the show last night hosted by "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

The disappointing news was the number for TNA Impact, which came in at an 0.8, down from last week's 1.0. That was for the taped show that aired last night with Eric Bischoff being shaved bald, Jeff Hardy vs. AJ Styles, etc.

Well, as crappy as Raw was there was no way they were not gonna SLAUGHTER TNA. I mean they had freaking Austin on the show. Even, though, i think he was completely misused. Meanwhile, TNA had the Nasty Boys. Lame!

This is because people wanted to see Austin for some reason.

TNA needs to bring back the ring, fire Hogan and Bischoff, look for a writing team, focus on wrestling and character building.

Mainly TNA needs to forget having a "war" with anyone.
It is about wrestling and having a show people will watch.

Steve Austin On TNA

Last night's RAW guest host, Stone Cold Steve Austin, recently appeared on Hardcore Sports Radio. When asked about WWE RAW and TNA iMPACT now facing off on Monday nights, he had this to say:

"I don't know if we'll ever re-create that Nitro-Raw war. WCW kicked our butt for two years, then turned the tables on them and we and never looked back and put them out of business.

"I wish the TNA people all the luck in the world because it means more of the boys have jobs and it gives fans an alternative.

"I don't think anyone will ever come close to really giving true competition to WWE because they're so far ahead of the game, they're rooted in their system, and they're a winner.

"I wish TNA all the luck in the world, but it's a totally different product."

TNA used to be about wrestling, not the talk show/ soap opera that is WWE.

So, TNA is an entirely different show. A wrestling show should be about wrestling. What a concept.

TNA needs to get back to that, and soon.

Watch TNA, because Stone Cold said so! :D

didnt even bother DVR'ng TNA this monday Because i thought Stone Cold would do more than he was used.
Did i miss anything? need to DVR the thursday replay? RVD?

The Real Reason TNA iMPACT! Got A Replay Tonight

Spike made the call to give TNA iMPACT! a replay early yesterday. Many in TNA didn't even know about the replay until it was advertised online. The plan was to do the replay last week, and then for the next several weeks to run feature films between 9-11PM. Last week's strong replay rating seems to indicate that there is still a Thursday audience for the show.

TNA should be on Thursday nights.

I'm tired of the "war" and Hogan and Bischoff.

Randy Savage Contacts TNA Wrestling

There was much disappointment among the Poffo family as Randy Savage contacted both WWE and TNA, asking them to send some kind of a message to be read at his father's funeral.

TNA sent a message while WWE ignored his request.

Angelo Poffo passed away two weeks ago on Mar. 4.
