Total Nonstop Action wrestling thread

I'd say no to the Buff Bagwell thing anyway...I think TNA has enough solid talent right now to keep up their push...though if they do bring in Buff, he needs a role with the MEM. Maybe an enforcer instead of their joke security...or someone who could eventually feud with Nash over the affections of jenna...

Yeah, I'm no Bagwell fan myself, but if they're going to do it, they might want to do it right. This catfight thing with Sharmell and Jenna has been done to death. just plain tired...

Loved the Daffney ****** last night. Ah, sweet goth psycho chicks with huge hooters. Life is good.:nanner:

tna was great last night better then wwe superstars in which is becomming as bad as ecw, the tag team stuff they doing over and tna is nice and fresh, and what they doing with their women is off the hook...

TNA Prepared to Retire Sting?

As you all know, Sacrifice is coming up. Sting is a part of the World Title match at Sacrifice. For him to be part of that match, he has to put something on the line. He has decided to put his career on the line.

Now there are many rumors out there about this match. And one of them is that Sting will indeed lose and part ways with TNA for good. Most people are saying that Kurt Angle will be the winner at Sacrifice, about time, as he is not going to give up his roll as the leader of the main-event mafia, but let's get back to Sting.

If in fact this Rumor is true, all I have to say is, why?

Sting is probably one of the best TNA superstars currently in the business. I mean he's right up there with Angle, AJ Styles, and others. Despite his age, I think this is a guy you want representing your show. He is loved and respected by the fans, he still has the in ring talent and much more. Sting is the man!

Bobby Lashley dismantled Mike Cook in just 24 seconds with a front ***** that saw Cook flop around like a fish on the mat to go 3-0 in his MMA career. At the weigh-ins, Cook wore a lucha libre mask to play with Lashley and mock his pro wrestling past. Cook also wore the mask to the cage last night.
In the post fight interview, Lashley stated: "Now he can put back on the mask and have fun with himself." Next up for Lashley is Bob Sapp.

Bobby Lashley Wins Third MMA Fight in 24 Seconds.

A word of advice to Bobby Lashley's future MMA opponents: Better lay off the pro wrestling jokes.

The former World Wrestling Entertainment star improved to 3-0 in his MMA career on Friday night when he submitted Mike Cook via guillotine ***** in just 24 seconds at Maximum Fighting Championship 21 in Alberta. It was by far Lashley's most impressive performance as an MMA fighter since turning pro late last year.

Lashley landed a right hand in the opening seconds of the fight, and right away grabbed Cook's neck, easily securing the guillotine. After a very brief struggle, it appeared as though Cook's body went limp 18 seconds into the bout, but he did fight the submission hold one last time. Seconds later referee "Big" John McCarthy stopped the fight. Cook never even tapped.

Cook's decision to wear a Rey Mysterio wrestling mask at yesterday's weigh-ins, as well as during his walk to the ring before the fight, while also mimicking Hulk Hogan, appeared to have really upset the American Top Team member.

"I'm here for business," a visibly fired up Lashley said after the fight. "Everybody comes out there with this wrestling thing, and tries to make fun of this wrestling thing; I'm real. You know, I'm coming here to fight. If they don't want to fight me, they can play around. If they play around, I'm going to knock them out, or ***** them out, and that's what I did today: ****** him out; made him pay. Now he can go put back on the mask and have fun with himself."

I had to post two articles and the video for this one.

If wrestling is so fake and professional wrestlers can't fight, all I ask the naysayers to do is step into the ring.

Mike Cook won't be saying anything about professional wrestling again. :hatsoff:

Lashley recently said he was trying to work out scheduling issues with TNA. He also said he would be working no more than four days a month with them and wouldn't do any pro wrestling matches within a few weeks of fights due to the injury risk.

Then how is he going to be on the program if he has scheduling problems and doesn't want to wrestle much? Maybe, he could be a manager?

TNA shouldn't have brought him on at all until this was planned out, and he signed a contract.

TNA seems to be rushing to these sorts of things, in the name of having yet another "name" to work with. This after they finally got things pared down enough to actually involve most talent in actual "storylines".

Yeah, Mick tripping over him whilst running the ropes for the people's elbow was a little weak though...

I wish they'd stop throwing away the X-Division matches at the start of Impact! These guys can work...
