Since they didn't play even one Tiger themed commercial during the Chevron tournament this weekend, seems like street cred = sponsors getting cold feet.

No, I don't think he did this for street cred. What good would that do him? He's on the brink of being ruined by this scandal, what with his marriage probably blowing up and his sponsors possibly cutting off the checks.

There is no such thing as street cred in golf. It's a "rich man's" sport. Tiger had something more valuable than street cred anyway. He had become a GLOBAL GOD, basically. Even the JayZs, Dr Dres, P Diddys of the world will bow down to a GLOBAL GOD....

I think he may lose Buick and Gillette but I doubt he'll lose all his sponsors.

He may consider not playing in the tour this year. He will be heckled like he's Frankenstein's monster walking among the masses....

The Holly Sampson in the FO links looks nothing like the Holly Sampson in that Daily News article, fwiw....maybe they have the wrong pornstar? :dunno:

The fact that he tapped a pornstar is a great thing for porn....Vivid and Brazzers should send Tiger a royalty check because he will provide them with new ideas and scenarios for 2010....

I really feel sorry for the kids. Damn, how could he have been nailin' other women when his wife was literally in labor? Shame for the kids, however the story plays out. I would not respect my father if I'd known he was nailin' women on the side on my mom. Shit....:)

There are two types of marriage: your own and everyone elses. She should do what is best in her own. Who knows? All this crap might be the making of him. Right now he is looking at losing his kids. The fan adulation disintegrating and the mental equilibrium needed for top class golf being sent into a spin. Whatever else happens, it is obvious he is going to be entering a period where he will have to be completely honest with himself about what he wants and how he wants to live his life. If his marriage and his children top that list then he can try to work it out.

I do not like the man, his sport or the fact that he is horrendously overpaid. However, I've made mistakes for no other reason than it flattered my ego. If he wants to make ago of it again and be a stand up guy for his kids then the best of luck to him.

You know, there comes a time and point when I just don't really wanna know, nor do I care about all of Tiger's individual hook ups. AFAIAC, he blew it as a husband and as a father from the moment that he consummated his initial affair, that's all I need to know.

What would be most interesting to find out is, is Tiger just carrying on a family tradition ? I bet that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
