Nattering Nabob of Negativism
Hypocrisy

Liz Cheney spoke yesterday after a number of Republican floor speeches on 'cancel culture':
One of them, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL)
"My fellow Americans, we're all in this together. We're in this together. We can't cancel each other. We can't move people out the public square because we find their ideas even vile or distasteful. I may not like what you have to say. We may disagree on votes on this very floor. But the one thing I will always respect, the one thing I will always defend, is your ability to say and your ability to vote that way,"

"I know the topic, Mr. Speaker, is cancel culture; I have some thoughts about that, but tonight, I rise to discuss freedom and our constitutional duty to protect it. ... I will not sit back and watch in silence while others lead our party down a path that abandons the rule of law and joins the former president’s crusade to undermine our democracy."

Statement by a resident of the Mar-a-Lago Home for Losers: Liz Cheney is a "bitter, horrible human being"

Liz Cheney: "We cannot both embrace the big lie and embrace the Constitution."

Ken Buck (R-CO, my rep): "Liz Cheney was canceled today for speaking her mind and disagreeing with the narrative that President Trump has put forth"

Who would have predicted a Chaney would actually be a lesser of two evil with concern for republicans years ago?

Keep in mind that nothing she has said about the election is remotely controversial in that the mountains of evidence on it back her side. She also isn't some RINO in that she would probably vote the same as most Republicans in damn near any significant policy matter. There is no liberal leanings with her.

No, they couldn't help but "cancel" her because she refused to go so far as to join a cult. It's as simple as that. There is just nothing more to it.

Hey, Republicans congratulations about your party. How's it feel to worship a orange clown,...seriously a fucking orange clown? It will now and forever more be the Trump party. Some might try to label it something else, but the effort will be futile. Nothing is ever going to wash that stench out of it. I for my part will never let them outlive it, even many years from now when many start to try. Unlike in the past so many of them have it on their social media, other places on the internet, or on the flags they fly around here that they will never be able to disown it or pretend otherwise. It won't be like Nixon where so many of them could pretend they didn't vote for him after the fact many years later. I will shove Trump down their throats until the Republicans I know die, and then I will continue to stain their name with that shame even after that so even death won't be a release from it. I will grind it in to the point of cruelty if I must. Someday the humiliation of them will be really fucking fun for everybody else. There will be no reconciliation with me. There will be no making nice, as most of them are beyond actual true redemption by this point, as they have spit in the face at any chance of it.

Trump isn't some genius super-villain they fell for. He's not some macho tough guy. He might literally be the dumbest significant politician we have ever had. I'm not using hyperbole in saying he is a PROFOUNDLY stupid human being. They have thrown in their lot with that guy to the point they might as well be married in a abusive relationship with him. :ROFLMAO: So far down the cult rabbit hole there is no escape anymore and are stuck with it to double down and then double down again as if that will actually alter reality to their choosing. If there is any justice in the world decent people will get to see them destroy themselves. If there is any justice in this world they will only wish they were "canceled" instead of humiliated.

Lin Wood wants to be South Carolina's Republican chairman. That would be fun.

Lin Wood like his hero is a loser. His statement: “Congratulations to Drew ‘Biden Won’ McKissick. Drew won the delegates in an establishment created election. I won We The People. Drew will learn in time that ALL the power belongs to We The People.

Anyone else tired of people who believe they speak for the people despite the facts proving otherwise? James Madison in Federalist 46: "the ultimate authority ... resides in the people alone." The people have spoken, "You lose".
