The Racist Roots of Arizona's Immigration Law

My Dad and me were talking about the Arizona law the other day. He told me about this Mexican guy he works with telling stories of how the gang members down there would just come up to people right in their own homes and just kill them infront of their families. Do you want that mess up here?
That's a bit paranoid. It was more than likely gang related.

Society doesn't give a shit about itself in general. The apathy for one another transcends race. This is why we have such hate filled, willingly ignorant people who are afraid of other human beings and can't think outside of their selfish little bubble. I don't understand why you assume Mexicans inherently hate white people or whatever you delude yourself to believe is true, but apparently it's true (IN THE MIIIIIIND)! :glugglug:

Only Hulk Hogan is a real American.

when you say hate filled you mean whites right?
And i never said mexicans hate whites.
I did imply that most wouldn't give a shit if you got asked for I.D. and /or deported from mexico.
see, they weren't taught to hate themselves and their ancestors in school and college.

And Who's living in the bubble charlie hustle?

Last night I talked to a person that I know who is O'odham about this. She lives near the border and is constantly being harassed by the Border Patrol because of her skin color. They have no right to be there and to build a fence in the first place.

Her father in law lives across the border fence and it is even harder for those people. They have to come over because there are no stores or anything nearby in Mexico. Recently a man needed emergency medical care, but because of the hassle of border crossing, ambulances won't go there. He had to wait for someone to come and pick him up and drive him across to the hospital and his foot had to be amputated. Another man from that village was beaten up by the Border Patrol for crossing because they thought he was an illegal.

She said that it's no surprise to her, and the new bill just makes it legal for the cops (border patrol) to do what they already did all the time (racial profiling). It's really sad and pitiful how the government is so totally inconsiderate of indians.

So the lack of retail establishments and healthcare facilities in one country justifies illegal immigration into another country? What a minute Calpoon, is this post a satirical joke of some sort? Because every time I read it, it makes less sense. Did you write it on Ambien?

But here's the good ole American Red Neck in me responding to it anyway:

I don't give a shit if some guy lost a foot because he lives in a 3rd world country that doesn't have anyone without enough initiative or motivation to build a fucking hospital. As a matter of fact I don't want an American ambulance leaving AMERICA just save some motherfucker's foot in another country. And contrary to what your mindless post says, They have every right to be there and to build a fence in the first place. It's their land, it's their fence, and goddammit it's their GUNS. :ak47:

Finally listened to the clip. Very good information and pretty damning stuff.

I thought the title of this thread was another exercise in hyperbole but it is in fact, dead nuts on target.

When it comes down to it, those who have made poor decisions in life will always be ready to cut the throats of those who have made quality choices.
Instead of changing course and following the good examples, the radicals prefer to take the route of revolution and scorched earth policy as a means to make all things equally miserable for everybody.

Congratulations Guys!

Dude, do you know who or what O'odham is? They have every right to cross American borders.

^^ Rule 5 - Alinsky's Rule for Radicals: ''Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.''

Drone - You're very loyal, comrade ! March On !

What does that have to do with me?

I once went to Tijuana back in the mid-90s. I did not like it. I thought it was horrible. After that I did not want to ever return to Mexico. Well, it seems Mexico missed me, because it is trying to find me and reunite with me. :helpme:

Enforcing Federal law is "racist?"

Wow... it's official. France now has bigger balls than the once mighty US of A.

Enforcing Federal law is "racist?"

well...yeah. Just because it's a federal law doesn't mean it's not racist. Segregation used to be a federal law, so was slavery. And even if the law is not racist, it doesn't mean that it can't be enforced in a racist way. I don't see the logic of this train of thought.

Besides this has nothing to do with federal law. The police already complied with federal law, as they have always been required to do. State laws can't conflict with federal law, but that doesn't mean that every state law is also a federal law. That's the whole point of having state legislature- they can make their own laws for their state.

Federal law doesn't require state police to act as immigration enforcement, which is why the federal government has it's own immigration enforcement department. Etc.

I think You Might have missed that part.

Would you give a shit if they were deported from the US? Exactly.

Well, that's what happens when you only visit Tijuana, which is more or less intended for drunk college students to run amok. Mexico is a pretty beautiful place. Humid, but pretty damn nice.

True on your first points, but I was referring to the "law" that the US Federal government protect it's borders and it's citizens, a duty that it hasn't live up to because of sheer apathy among the political establishment here in Washington. They should be SUED for dereliction of duty IMHO, and instead of all these ridiculous social programs we are wasting trillions on, they need to stick to what they are MANDATED by the Constitution to do, namely protect the sovereignty of the nation and the interests of it's CITIZENS.

Well the interpretation if "enforcing federal law" is a little bastardized but I agree. We should ALWAYS protect the interests of Americans, our sovereignty our borders and enforce our laws.

However, it should NEVER be accomplished nor attempted at the expense of constitutionally protections and rights. If so, what's the purpose of having them written down to begin with.
