Bad smells... hmm.... eggs and onions. Mix the two together and saddle it up on a skunk and we have ourselves a winner.
Oh, it's probably worth noting that the limbic system also controls some aspects of behavior. So if the smell of smoke triggers fond memories it's perhaps not surprising that you're a smoker yourself.
Not sure if it's bad or not, but it's not surprising. The sense of smell is one of the most powerful memory triggers, especially when it comes to particularly emotional ones, because the element of the brain that processes smell is part of the limbic system, which also deals with memories and feelings.

I knew that.
..which is why I hope I never smell my ex-wife's favorite perfume ever again.
Might be a bit tough to administer when you feel the need for a smoke. I was thinking something along the lines of sour milk and/or rotten eggs in a thermos. Just unscrew the top and take a few deep breaths every time you light up. Keep it sealed the rest of the time. :dunno:
Eeew! I can't do it. No way. I'd end up ditching the thermos and keeping the smokes.
Well, you could always have your guy administer the treatment for you!
Also, I just realize this thread has started discussing the human brain and behavior modification. Huh, it's pretty damned random in here, isn't it?

The thread really doesn't live up to its tag of (AMA), as far as I can tell there's really not as much asking going on as there is a general profusion of discussion. I feel like it's actually more civil in here than it is in most other sections of the board, go figure.
Well, I'm not the one who added the AMA, so that's ok. I mean if people want to ask me questions, that's totally fine, but that wasn't my original intention. It's Harley Heaven in here- interesting random topics, good vibes, and the occasional tits and ass.

I like the randomness of it. Makes things interesting. Otherwise it'd just be everyone drooling over me day after day.

Gotta make for a strange read to any latecomers though. However, Elwood didn't seem to mind. :dunno:
I think Elwood's happy because Maley isn't here turning this into a worship fest...
...and I actually have something to say other than, "Oh you think I'm hot? Thanks hunny!"
I also think the sense of smell doesn't deteriorate at the same rate as sight and hearing as one ages. I always wondered if that could also be part of the reason it can be so linked to memories. I also wonder if it being a relatively simple sense as far as sensory input goes has something to do with it. Visual memories don't hold up as well, baring having an eidetic memory, and it makes me wonder if it's because visual things have a lot of complex factors and multiple things that have to be remembered in a memory and as time goes on they get slightly off.
Men tend to have more visually centric minds. You may have a male brain. how good is your driving?I don't think I have many memories based on smell, most of mine are visual. There's only a few small scents that trigger a handful of memories. Like coffee, cigarettes, certain colognes and perfumes, food, wood, fire, pine trees... And even when I smell some of these things, it doesn't always bring back clear memories, just a familiarity.
I'm auctioning off things I've worn and used in shoots on Ebay! Here's the link to my profile on there so you can view the items: http://myworld.ebay.com/harleyspencerproductions
I'm selling 10 items at a time!
Two examples, which I've attached here, of items I'm selling are the lingerie I wore in my Penthouse magazine spread and the black bra from a set I wore for my site.
Some of the items include a free one-month membership to my site!
