:1orglaugh Should we ask Aubie Fan and Arky Fan if they agree with you? Arky still has the skidmarks from that 70point beatdown on their uniforms.

I think USC would roll through the SEC like Genghis FUCKING Kahn because USC WOULD BE UP FOR EVERY GAME:rolleyes: That's been the Trojans problem in the past. They have a mental letdown every season, usually immediately the game after a huge win.

The bigger the game the better USC plays. The Pac10 had a bad season OOC, conference wide and had the 3 worst college teams in all of college football--but the Pac10 made up for it all with an impressive bowl season. Oregon looks like they could roll anyone. Imagine the Ducks in a playoff scenario? Even the Beavs played pretty well without the 'Quizz brothers.

Sam Bradford absolutely should leave for the NFL. I blame his OC and Big Game Bob's blundering BCS Bowl Preparation for his not looking like a great NFL prospect. Put him under the guidance of an NFL Org and he will be a pretty good player. The only thing that concerns me about Matthew Stafford is that he likes to hang around Tony Jabroney Romeo in the offseason and Lil' Romeo's crappy stink might've rubbed off onto Stafford...

Tebow has nothing to play for in college. He needs to leave for the NFL as well. People will get tired of Tebow next year in college. I think Tebow can play right away in the NFL as a Chris Cooley type H-back for the right team. He could probably run the Wildcat for the Lions, but he can't be a serious NFL QB. NFL CBs will feast on his passes...

If Tebow goes they are saying he would be a third or fouth round pick

true, tebow would never cut it as an NFL QB.

There are a lot of shitty NFL players pulling down fat paychecks, Chef...I think some team is going to give him a shot. Hell, the RAYDAHS could make him their Community Service guy...Imagine Tim Tebow trying to convert the Black Hole into some form of humanity??

Who gives a shit how much money he (could) make. I'm not jealous of people who have more money than me. So they can buy nice cars and big houses?...whoopity doo.

The point is there are a lot of shitty NFL players in the league. Tebow will be in the league. We will see if he's shitty or not.

Congratulations to the University of Florida!!!

Did anyone see Sam Bradford's arrival at Dolphin Stadium? He looked like a complete dork. I guess he thought he was cool with his silly headphones on and all. I wish someone would have asked this asshole at the post game news conference about his Tim Tebow/Quarterback in the Big 12 comment.

Sorry loser, Tim Tebow and company kicked that Sooner ass last night!

It sucks that OU's offense didnt show up. Their defense was pretty solid. Florida was unimpressive as well. USC would have destroyed these teams by 18.

Bring USC on. Really I don't see USC doing much agaisnt our defense. It sure would have been a great game. At the beginning of the year I picked a USC- UF championship game. USC should have been in it.

Do you know who the blame goes on for USC? Pete Carrol. He didn't have them prepared for every game. Just like every year for USC.

And Tech beat Texas who beat Oklahoma. It's a beauty contest....that's why USC jumped Texas. I agree....what a crock indeed.

Not so sure it's a beauty contest as opposed to a holy dollar contest, why do you think some teams are invited to a bowl game when they have no business there ---- cha ching!!

As far as the final six in the poll, I think those are the best final six and only the fans and the players lose from a "no playoff" system. The bowls, and the networks make the holy dollar, and that is all that matters (to those folks). Sad, but true.

Oklahoma with 2 losses and you rank them 3rd ahead of once-beaten Texas and undefeated Utah???

Yes, Jagger. Had Texas played Florida they'd have 2 losses as well. And had Utah played Florida, they'd have one. So I'm not going to penalize Oklahoma for losing the championship game to a team neither of the other two could've beaten (imo).

I was as up in arms as anyone about Oklahoma getting the nod over Texas for the Big 12 championship game. Didn't make any sense considering Texas beat them heads up. But I was more impressed by Oklahoma in their loss last night than by Texas in their narrow escape against Ohio State. Thus my slight (and it's very slight) nod to the Sooners over the Longhorns.

No doubt the best matchup would have been Florida vs USC matchup.

You know, it is interesting...
Nothing lasts forever. At some point the current Trojan dominance will lessen. Oregon and Cal are positioned to have good teams for many years to come, and UCLA will be back in the Pac 10 mix in time. I think as great as Carrol's USC teams have been Trojan fans may look back on this era as one of missed opportunities. Seven years in a row being ranked in the top 4 and only one national championship. That's a bit reminiscent of the Atlanta Braves futility when it came to winning the world series.

The 2 leading USC coaching options if Pete Carroll were to head back to the NFL: Jeff Fisher and Mike Holmgren. Ed Orgeron could be a future USC Head Coach --provided he has an OC in mind...USC is back to being an attractive football factory again. Even if Pete Carroll leaves, I think the program will find an adequate replacement with NFL connections...
