Yes, I don't like Michigan, but they are the second best team in the country, and would have the best chance against OSU. Florida just had too many games where it scrapped by against opponents that weren't that good even if it's schedule was a little tougher, and looked lackluster in a large chunk of their games. Plus for the most part the Michigan program showed more class in all of this while Florida and some its supporters went on a whine and beg-a-thon the last 24 hours. You would think situations like this would make them finally implement a playoff system with 8 teams or something, but they will never do that. The reason why is money, and the bowls are big money for both the colleges and the people who run the bowls and they don't want to give that up or split the money for the integrity of the sport.
Then again who knows what will happen in football. There is always that, "any given Sunday" effect.
