I came off a bad relationship not too long ago, where I got cheated on (ironic...), and she's the first girl to make me feel really happy (she's silly, funny, sexy, and smart) in a long time. She'd had to be the best actress in the world to pull of the emotion she does when telling me about her alleged "abuse" but what you guys are saying does make sense.

She's your boss? And you report directly to her? You're kidding! Without being too specific, what kind of business is this? How old is she??? Your company doesn't have an HR policy about supervisors dating direct reports?

What is that like? This is messed up but I have been conversing with a chick from work, who has a fiance, for the past 3 months. He went out of town and we went out and had sex in her apartment. It isn't just about the sex, I really enjoy her company and could see myself with her...The guy beats her, steals from her and, according to her, never wants to have sex. Ok I didnt read any one elses replies just yet because I didnt want to lose my train of thought. after this im gonna go through and read them so EXXXXCUUUUUUSE me if I hit on a few points others make.

So first off you shouldnt have messed with a co-worker. Ok now that that is out of the way here is some advice to being "The other guy". I have alot of expertise in being "the other guy" so here it goes:

1.) make sure she is worth it. If she is just sex to you leave. In the words of Iron maiden :sing:"Run to the hills. . . "

2.) Be ready for a fight. When the other guy finds out about you dont expect him to just shake your hand and walk away especially if he is violent towards her.

3.)Treat her like a queen.You can never even look at another women with lust in your eyes.She cheated on her current boyfriend she would be very likely to do it in the future if you treat her badly in any way.

4.)Dont be upset if she changes her mind about you. You Might just be her way of getting back at her fiance, so dont be upset if she bails on you.

5.) Its NEVER easy. thats it its never easy

We both work for a local newspaper. I'm not the suing type; if things go "south", I'd just get over it since I was the one to initiate.

In response to another post, I've seen her fiance before and, although I can take care of myself, that guy could rip me to shreds. I don't think I'd be willing to fight over her (or any other girl for that matter, other than my mother).
