The Freeones Weather Thread

Early in the week it was 28' C, now we're back to 14' C with a howling north wind. Make up your damn mind May!

Staying home. Snowing here where I am. About one and a half to two inches on the ground thus far.

It's in the high teens all day, but it's only 11 right now, along with more snow in Cleveland today. It's been cold and snow for a week or so.

Cold. Won't last long though as they are forecasting a high of 63F (17.2C) for Thursday (December 18th).

15F = -9.4C
6F = -14.4C

56, sunny, 15-20 MPH wind thanks to the cold front that just came through, and supposed to be 23 the next 2 nights here in south Georgia 🥶

Got up to 75 yesterday

about the same here on the east coast of Spain at the moment...

usually in the 70s about this time of year!

Looking forward to summer sun again x

A dangerous ice storm is coming to Raleigh (and much of the country) this weekend. Not looking forward to that.

Black ice. Stay safe everyone in the path of Premium Link Upgrade Fern.

Hoooollllyyyy shiiiite!!

Why didn't someone put down a flare / park a police car across the road??

******** cold in Cleveland right now. We're in the 2° range, and it isn't going to get much warmer. We have snow forecast, and wind chills are ridiculous. I'm glad I don't have to leave the house, or have a dog that needs walking. I hope everyone stays safe.

Nothing has started in Raleigh yet but it's coming. Real heavy sense of impending doom. Days without electricity, no travel. Will not be pleasant.

It is just after 4AM in Raleigh. Sun is not out so I cannot be sure but from radar it doesn't look like it has done much here yet. No significant power outages at this time according to Duke Energy website. The longer it takes before it really starts, the better off we will be.

It is now after 8AM in Raleigh. I do not see much of any ice accumulation on the trees I can see from windows. Looks like it has mostly been snow/sleet to this point. They are still predicting a changeover to freezing rain. Hopefully, we have dodged the "generational ice storm" bullet and it can be just bad to horrible depending when the ice starts to build up.

They are predicting 3-6 inches in Raleigh this weekend. Everyone is making penis jokes. I'm entirely serious. They say things like if we only get four inches men will insist we actually got 8 and stuff like that. I'm embarrassed for those people.
