In case it wasn't clear; this migrant is saying that conditions in Mexico are worse than Honduras as he's turning down an offer to settle there. If that's the case (Mexico is worse than Honduras) then what makes him think he's so special that he deserves refugee status? If Mexico is that bad, wouldn't all the Mexicans qualify for asylum too? What makes him think he should get preferential treatment? With that sense of entitlement you can tell how it going to go if he gets into the US.

Even CNN is reporting how bad the "invasion" was with their interview with border patrol agents. Being pelted with rocks and facing a wall of rushing people running across a restricted area, tearing down fences...

Can't help but think if this "bum-rush" happened just before the election the results would have been different. Ironically the smart play for the GOP might have been to bus those immigrants to the border so they would make it in time for the election...

That being said, we’ve seen more than one report that insinuates these are people who are arriving with little more than the clothes on their back. To see so many clothes strewn about — like so much useless garbage — certainly raises questions. There may be answers that we aren’t getting, particularly given the video was posted Saturday, but I found this odd.

To suggest that that leftover mess was staged is horseshit. I saw a video LIVE on Univisión after it had rained. I believe it was even that asshole Jorge Ramos doing the commenting. Anyway, yes, the rain exacerbated the already existing mess. So I'm sure a lot of those characters having gotten all wet during the rain, even in their tents, changed clothes and left their mess behind. Cuz since when have they been respectful? They don't care what they leave behind.
