I found cutting a meal or 2 out of weekends helps. I typically sleep in on days off, so a "late breakfast/brunch" is all I need to keep me full until dinner.I went to put on a pair of jeans .. and they were TIGHT. Jumped on the scale, and a new "high" / record.. So .. I'll be setting a New Year resolution to drop a pound a week for the foreseeable future. At a minimum, in the short term: 1) no pizzas; 2) no bagels; 3) no desserts. So, last night I had a chicken and fettuccini Lean Cuisine, and a fuji apple with peanut butter (I have an apple a day, for .. "regularity").
Also cutting down the size of meals helps too. A lean cuisine would definitely do the trick, although even I find that pretty light for a dinner. You generally can't overeat green/coloured veggies, so throw in a full salad (w/healthy vinaigrette dressing - no creamy Caesars), which will help you feel fuller.
