Summer Olympics 2008

Yikes! I just watched a game of women's field hockey between the US and Germany, and  holy ****, do the Germans have some fugly women! Premium Link Upgrade alone would be enough to make a guy sober! You should see what she looks like with her mouth piece in.

Yeah I was watching that too. Although there were some German chicks that were pretty good looking!

True, but the mere sight of that one chick was enough to make me lose my buzz. :(

Then this is definately the last Olympics I watch until they bring it back.

I doubt they will, but at least theres still the World Baseball Classic

Dam!!! Russian gymnastic dude ate bad **** on the high bar. He slipped coming down and just slammed to the ground. Anybody see that?

You're upset about baseball? They have fucking Trampoline as an event!!! I mean how hard is it to jump on a trampoline?

:dunno:

And that is exactly I'm upset. Look, I'm all for making global competition out of sports that aren't necessarily popular or well known in the US, but if NBC is going to make a circus out of these sports, they might as well just do EVERYTHING. I mean why not bowling, frisbee, maybe some broomstick hockey just to mix it up.

I just don't get it. You've got a top three sport in one of the biggest television markets in the world and you're going to get rid of it for what? Soccer has the world cup, the Euro finals and I'm sure they've got more, and baseball has what, the WBC every 4 years? As much as I enjoy the WBC, it's a damn popularity contest. At least the Olympic team usually fields the up and coming guys who have never really made it to the majors. I think it's just a really really dumb move by the IOC, both respect and moneywise.

Federer loses to Blake... What is wrong with Federer? This was a ***** (the GOLD) for him, and he has ****** twice now. I am shocked. This is the begining of the end for him.

That was hilarious. I don't laugh much, but that had me a little ****** up. :1orglaugh Also the Japanese dude when he took that fall to the ground on the rings....good stuff. :)

They said they're gonna bring it back when the Olympics comes back to the US. To Olympic baseball's credit, at least the competition is there, unlike the softball...:*****:

proud to say i havent watched ANY of it

i just dont like the fact its in china, thats all

Here's a story that should be looked at by the Gymnastics Federation, or the International Olympics Committee, or whoever has the power to strip China of its medals for cheating.

The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has said repeatedly that a passport is the “accepted proof of a gymnast’s eligibility,” and that He and China’s other gymnasts have presented ones that show they are age eligible. The IOC also checked the girls’ passports and deemed them valid.

If the IOC says there OK, then theres is nothing that can be done. And if there passports are valid is this just sour grapes from the US media because there team didnt win?

:dunno:
