All right, so the other day me and a group of friends went out to a strip club for the first time..Cause all of us are finally of age up here in the Great White North called Canada. And i never knew it cost so much money?!?! Tip the bouncer, tip the waitress, buy a drink, pay for a lapdance, tip for the lap dance..All that money adds up..and REALLY fast too

Anyways so my question is: Is there a proper etiquette or unwritten rules when it comes to strip clubs and tipping and all that junk? Hint Hint ways to save money?

And Why do I feel like this is going to turn into one BIG or a lot of snarky sexual remarks thread?

Tip number one...Never sit anywhere in a strip club where there's an open seat next to you. You're just inviting the skank strippers to plop their ass down and start making you buy them drinks and begging for a private dance. You'll never get rid of these chicks..and you're night will be fucked.

Tip number two...If you have strippers constantly coming around harassing you for dances, you can always use the "we just got here a few minutes ago, so check back later" line...or you can just say No, I'm looking for chicks with big ass tiddies, quit pestering me already.

Tip number three...If you roll into a club and there's a pregnant black chick on stage with not another soul in the building, turn and walk the fuck out. Inevitably one of your mates will think "this place is the shit" and sit down to order a beer. If he does, leave his ass and find a classier joint.

Congrats on your first strip club trip. I don't find them nearly as fun as when I was 21. Back then I thought after enough beers I could be bangin any of those broads...WRONG. It's a rare occasion that you can pull a stripper for a date. Now I just see it as a waste of money on beers and chicks that cost too damn much.

The more you pay the more you get, kida how it goes. If you really want to have a great time take a female with you. When my wife and I were dating years ago we went with a bunch of friends and the strippers completly ingorned us and went after her all night.

Now a days being in my 30's I don't see the point of going. Although we went this past summer for my brother bachlore party and had a blast. But to me I rather go to a dive bar and have a few beers and play darts at least I won't be broke and might have a chace of banging my wife still.

in Toronto, we hardly tip the bouncer, lap dancer.... depends, private one, for sure you need to pay, but some of them dance in the cage, so....

Tip the bouncer? I've never done that.
The only people you should tip are the waitresses, and the ladies performing if you're in the front. A lot of the girls will try to make you buy them drinks, but don't do it unless you really dig them. I know you don't want to be seen as a cheapskate, but fuck it, if you don't like them don't waste your money.

Here's a tip for you . . . your first mistake was paying all of those "tips." If you and your friends ordered drinks, "tip" the server at the end of the night before your leave. A "tip" for a lap dance? WTF? You paid extra for those blue balls. "Tip" the bouncer? again, WTF? There's no need for that unless you are a drug dealer or tried to sneak someone underage into the club. :2 cents:

Hmmm... I started as a dancer (like 99% of all porn girls) This makes me giggle... why go to a strip club if you don't want the girls to bother you? They are there to work... to HUSTLE. Asking for drinks and dances is how they make thier money... If you don't have money... or don't want to spend money... don't go. It's easy.

Where I danced, the women were really beautiful... it was a classy place. Using tip number two will have the bouncers (that you apparently just tipped?) throwing you out on your ass.

Tip three... I agree with totally... except running out would be the better option...

I am not a fan of strip clubs and only go there if I'm forced to because of bachelor parties or stupid drunk friends. And by the way, why is it that the hottest girl working at the strip club is always the waitress? Seriously, of all the times I've been there, the only girl I would consider paying to see naked is the one bringing me my Bud Light. What is that about?

These lines come in handy for me:

I disagree, I used to live near a free entry strip club so I'd often stop in on my way home from a night out if I didn't get lucky. Since I was usually alone at that point I'd be sitting by myself and they'd always come and talk to me. Within 30 seconds of them sitting down I would always say straight out "I'm not looking to buy a lap dance or anything." If the girl was looking for money, she'd say no probs and wander off, but often I could see the relief on their faces and they'd just sit and have a chat with me, I guess to their bosses it looked like they were working but it gave them a break, and it's surprisingly comfortable just chatting to a lingerie clad hot girl when you don't even bother thinking that you might get a chance to nail her. Some of those strippers were the most down-to-earth and cool chicks I've ever met and I enjoyed hanging out with them that way.

there is a lot of anger toward strippers and strip clubs in general. i hvae never tipped the bouncer, why? they just check your id or take your entrance fee. The best thing to do is not sit right next to the stage. That way, it is harder to give the dancers on the stage a tip and for them to try to get a tip out of you.

the only person you should tip is the waitress, they are serving you and just like any bar, you tip the bartender/waitress when they get a you a drink.

you dont' tip the strippers, they get their money for the lapdance they just gave you.

if you are polite to the strippers they won't press you so hard. i have gone plenty of times and if a stripper comes up to me and asks if i want a dance, just say, no thanks, maybe later. sometimes they come back around again but mostly they don't. Just be selective of the strippers you want to get a dance from.

just be nice ist he best way to save if you don't want to get a dance or buy a stripper a drink.

Only time I ever tip a dancer is if she dances to a song I like, or if she does a really good job on her stage show. Best advice I can give, is always be on your best behavior.

I tip the bouncer at the door. It's good to make friends with the bouncers and easier to make friends with them than the strippers themselves who will have their guard up at work. One of my friends is a bouncer at a strip club and as consequence he has arranged a few parties at my place with some of the girls.
