in the usa the system is to pay people for having children out of wedlock.
i'd say about 20 or 30% of the country lives like this.

Within the community of those with cognitive impairments, their carers, family, friends, clinicians and support workers, the term 'retard' is as offensive as '******' or 'coon' would be to an African American, '****' or '******' would be to a Mexican, etc etc.
The original poster simply picked on a community he did not fear. I think I can be entirely sure he'd never have dared to post a thread entitled 'should ******s be sterilized?'. Like all cowards and bullies, he picked on something he considered to be considerably weaker than himself, something that could not or would not fight back.
Now I'll be the first to admit I can post things that, on reflection, were not in the spirit of this board; that probably did not match up to the intended spirit of the Freeones community.
But I think this question - and poster - have lowered the bar way lower than is desirable.

nope, not handicapped people, which is obvious when you look at option 3 on the poll... in fact, we get many handicappers at the restaurant where i work, and the vast majority of them is more polite than the normal customers we get.
