Scotch. I love it.

Is this the Ron Burgundy thread?

I like whatever Dean Martin used to *****. :glugglug:

Southern Comfort was the first ***** I ever had.

My *** caught me trying to steal some of his, I think his words were "If you're gonna ***** my ******, you're gonna ***** a proper amount of it" and made me take about a double measure of it.

all this talk has made me thirsty! *reaches for the bottle of Grey Goose*

In case you couldn't tell, ***** is currently my ***** of choice. Grey Goose, Belvedere, and Chopin if taking them straight. Mixing them only done with a splash, otherwise you ruin it. Absolut and Kettle One for mixing with juice, etc.

I have been meaning to try some scotch, maybe some Chivas Regal?

As for Tequila, as long is its not Cuervo! Sammy Hagar's blue Cabo Wabo is VERY smooth!! haven't had that in a while!

Lady Love: I think it is very different though.

If spelt "******" it comes from Scotland, if "*******" it's from Ireland.

The problem comes with drinks like Bourbon which really shouldn't be called whisk(e)y at all but it's too late to change that. They are attempts to make a spirit from other grains , they make a good ***** in their own right but can't compare with a malt ****** (you shouldn't really expect them to)
There are whiskies from Scotland and Ireland which are blends of non malt with malt;again pleasant enough but are recognised to be cheaper inferior versions.

I'm well aware of the Scottish ******, Irish ******* spelling difference. American whiskies? Well you can call it ******* if you like, but we Scots were making ****** before the USA even existed.

I love the arrogance though. American ******* is referred to as "*******" and the Scottish stuff, which was being made before the US was even thought of, is somehow not worthy of being called ******. Unbelievable.

For those of you who want to learn a little more about the spirit of life, check out the conference.

LONDON (Reuters) - It could be paradise, a show carrying samples of the world's best whiskies travelling the globe offering tempting tastings for aficionados and the uninitiated alike.

Now in its eighth year, ****** Live came to London at the weekend after visiting Auckland for the first time and before that Tokyo where ****** is immensely popular.

Bourbons, ryes, single malts, blended malts of different strengths and having been matured for differing lengths of time and in barrels that have previously held different alcoholic beverages to give them different flavours.

The variety of whiskies is as mind boggling as the effect they can have if consumed in excess.

I have a feeling somebody would have to carry me out of that place if I were to attend that event.

I started with Glenlivet and it is the only scotch I keep in the house. When I am out and about I will ***** Dewars or Macallan if I can find my favorite.

Well, perhaps this may sound a little strange... but I like Laphroaig. It's so smoky that I'd nearly call it "smoked".

The really strange thing is I sometimes like to ***** Laphroaig with fish! Although - this seems to fit, smoked fish and smoky ******... :)

Regards

Of Course I like Bushmills cause it's Irish and the original *******. But I'd say Not much beats some good Glenfiddich, or Glenmorangie
