Planning trip to Australia

A week to go before i go and pretty much everything is set.

Can anyone recommend me anything worth binging to keep me occupied on the long flight? As i'm from the UK looking for anything on Iplayer, All4, Netflix, Amazon prime, disney etc that i can download offline and watch.

Any suggestions please?

What airline are flying? Because most of the top-tier airlines on long-haul flights have solid entertainment - the best current movies are a given, and many even have watered down gaming consoles.

Flying with BA (British Airways) not sure if best to bring my own stuff just in case i don't like any of what the flight is offering, or if i want to keep up with what im watching anyways?

Back in the day, I would bring my 3DS and if I got a streetpass hit, I'd search the plane and see if they had any multiplayer games to play.

Whatever you do, just make sure you force yourself to fall asleep around 11pm-12am Aus Time on the plane, so you're already adjusted when you land.

The way air travel today is, I would take 5mg diazepam before I get in line for the TSA, once I board, a cocktail as soon as I can have one, and if needed a second 5mg happy pill. In this way, I don't get annoyed, I sleep, I sleep through crying babies AND plane crashes, and interaction between me and ANYBODY is minimized, for my happiness.

Why is that?

I read an article on avoiding jetlag back in .. 2003-ish timeframe, before MY trip to Australia. It was suggested that you'd be able to sleep easier without any stimulants (caffeine), or depressants (alcohol).

Sucks that i have checked the forecast and it's going to be raining for a few days :(

I feel like either to scrap my plans/modify them to suit the rain, or just go out and do my original plans

I wouldn't worry too much. You're not going to the north during the wet, so I have a feeling it won't always be raining despite the forecast.
But looking up some indoor activities like museums and the opera house as a backup wouldn't hurt.

Here some sample pics. Hope like dude.

Thanks Mate!

I lived right by Darling Harbour so that brings back memories. I would also swing by Coles or other supermarkets and grab an "End-of-day" sale on the meat pies after work and eat them along the piers. Your pics are taking me back to that time :)

Very nice. Glad you enjoyed your vacation.

Thanks i did enjoy it. Getting around was hard to navigate though even with google maps. It like the road signs are not very clear and visible. Like in the UK, on a very long road, you still see a sign of what road you are on and with buildings saying xxx Joe Bloggs Road etc.... whereas there the buildings just had the numbers on, so you dunno what road you are on till end of a junction and then you find out you been going the wrong way. Very frustrating as the blue dot on google maps doesn't calibrate on time.
