Schoolboy, 14, shot dead gay classmate because 'he thought he had a crush on him'

Two thoughts:

1. I hate it when people try and say they are not guilty when they are seen by a whole group of people murdering someone. What the hell are you trying to pull?
That's for one of America's †1,128,729 attorneys to decide.
2. Why would the school let King wear makeup and high heels to school? They had to of known that he was being bullied at school for being gay; why would they just sit back and let him make it worse for himself?
No kidding, huh?
I know of special continuation high schools for troubled high school aged kids, but never have I heard of such a school for 7th & 8th graders.
Are you kidding me?! Do they even let girls wear makeup and high heels in 7th & 8th grades?:surprise:

I'm sure a couple years down the line this thread will be bumped again once this kid is apprehended for killing again.

And I thought America was tough on crime, when someone shoots another person in the head in front of 30 witnesses (and after saying all the previous week they were gonna kill them) and is still not found guilty then there is something seriously wrong, the accused will now probably successfully sue the police for $100million in damages for mental anguish  I wonder if his lawyers used the Gay panic defense

While the crime may be old, the courtcase was only resolved (or technically unresolved) there recently.

You'll be happy to know that the defense tried there darndest to play the gay panic card
It seems to have succeeded too, since we had a hung jury.

No, it's because those over zealous prosecutors tried to portray him as a gang member, hell raiser and neo-nazi but a parade of witnesses said otherwise.

On top of that, they were trying to throw the book at him and try him as an adult. A lot of times this tactic FAILS when the jury sees the defendant and hears about their life.

It's the prosecutions fault for being so obvious in trying to make this kid pay for every gay basher who was never prosecuted.
