A '21 Morgan Dollar is like a Kennedy half-dollar v. an Eisenhower silver dollar. Looks similar, but not even close.

[EDIT] Not going to fix my obvious fuckup. I meant Franklin half dollar. So go ahead and crucify me.

A '21 Morgan is almost identical to its predecessors from 1878 to 1904 with only a very miniscule change on the reverse that would not even be noticed if you don't know what to look for. That year the traditional Morgan was replaced with the Peace Dollar which ran from 1921-1928 and then re-emerged in 1934-1935 as the same Peace Dollar. The first year Peace Dollar was Ultra high relief which is the one that replaced the Morgan. The 1921 Morgan is the most common of all Morgan Dollars and has almost the lowest of values. It can be found at just about any coin venue and for sure at your local coin shop. They are NOT rare and are very easily found. Same size, content and same designer as all Morgans before.

"Almost" is not the same, Bi4... a dedicated numismatist will discern the difference if he is worth his weight in gold, if I may pun (yuk yuk yuk).

If you'll scroll back a few pages, you'll note I was not talking about '21 Morgans. I was talking about '78-04. Try to pay attention, huh?

To be honest here it looks like you are just making stuff up and pulling it out of your ass as you go. Trying to pay attention to your obvious lack of coin knowledge and incoherent ramblings about things you know nothing about really boars me. Paying attention? Huh? Have a nice life.:wave2:

I always thought that it would be an interesting study, about, when coins were minted with errors. Some of these mint employees probably got their asses chewed out by their foreman ! "You did what to 8700 coins ?" I always have wondered if some of this was almost conducted . . . well, intentionally, at times. Then again, I don't know if there could have been any anticipation of higher value misstamped coinage back when. I'm sure that there are some very good books out there, relative to the operations at the mints.

Yadda yadda yadda.... whatever, who cares. I like coins, you like coins. I have a nice collection, you have a nice collection.

How about we let this thread get back to how much Sarah Palin WAS not qualified to be VP? Anyone care to refute that?

It has happened many times where errors were intentional. Even back in the 1800's it made coins more valuable and employees knew it. I recently read an article taken from a coin periodical in that era where errors were all the rage. OK later dude, I'm outta here. Ya'll have a good night.

read an article... Great source of expertise there. Bravo, bi 4.

So how bout that sarah palin? She needs to get the hell off my tv and america's airwaves. She lost.

lol you should be on comedy central or something. You learn about coins by reading coin books and articles related to coins, skippy. Maybe you should read things too....it's called hooked on phonics. Although i know you will emplore another ignorant hillbilly reply i am going to resist the temptation and not reply further to you. I am tired of busting your chops on your lack of knowledge about your "nice collection." lollololololol collection of post dated 1975 quarters maybe or post dated 1995 nickels. Do bundle up on the way home from the library computer.

all she needs is a good cock and someone there to film it and tah dah! she finally finds something she's good at besides popping out kids and killing moose.

Great news so it was, hearing how Sarah sex on legs Palin could run for office in the next election. I dont care about politics, it just means we will see more of her in the future :nanner:

It was on Yahoo news a couple of days ago.

I wouldn't count on it.She was on the losing ticket and while I don't think whoever McCain had picked was going to be a game changer and get him the win she is seen as having hurt his chances. She had her 15 minutes of fame I think and its over. The republicans need to reinvent themselves to be competetive again (be more inclusive and have more appeal specifically).Palin is not in that mold with her fairly right wing stands.I got you just like her for her but its really the politics that will determine if she is national public figure. You can't go by what they say,she said they were going to win just like she is trying to say now she may be around for a while. It's all wishfull thinking on her part now and before.

Here is the audio of the prank phone call to Palin by two DJs in Montreal, one of them pretending to be Nicolas Sarkozy, the president of France. The dumb bitch totally fell for it -- including the over-the-top exaggerated French accent -- even when "President Sarkozy" told her his wife was "hot in bed," asked if Joe the Plumber was her husband, and said that he can see Belgium from his house. He even tells her that he had just watched the documentary film about her life, "Nailin Paylin." She actually thanked him for that comment!

The guy could have kept her going for hours -- he finally had to tell her it was a prank, since she never would have figured it out herself. I suppose she will now include this phone call in the "foreign policy experience" that qualifies her to be president -- along with the fact that on a clear day you can see a tiny Russian island from a nearby tiny Alaskan island in the Bering Straits.
