Can't wait to see how the hardcore Colt fans *cough*Andronicus Ry*cough* try to deal with this one.
Yeah, fuck you. And fuck everyone else that rooted for the Saints. Fuck their fans. Fuck their coach. Fuck their dumb shit owner. Fuck the French Quarter. Fuck the city of New Orleans. They don't get to mention the fucking hurricane ever again in reference to deserving anything. That's it, they're done. You have your fucking title now. May you never win one again. And I never want to hear the name Katrina in my life. You've had 5 fucking years to get over it. Move on!
I'm fucking angry, disappointed, and shocked all at the same time. Indy was outplayed and out-coached. It's really that simple. Brees performed better than Manning, and Payton had his team more well prepared than Caldwell. The game boils down to that. Payton's decision to try an onside kick was the turning point of the game. I never expected this outcome. Regardless of how they performed during the rest of the season, Indy was not the better team in this game.
This one is going to sting for a very long time. Congratulations to Drew Brees. I
truly am happy for him. As great a QB as he is, he's a better human being ten times over. He's given so much back to Purdue and the city of New Orleans. The same kid I watched play 30 college games is now a Super Bowl champion and MVP. That's cool as fuck. He deserves all the accolades and awards he receives.
