im on the 17. see u soon!

He didn't call her a slut. He said why should we pay for birth control for women to go slutting around. I have to agree with him. I think birth control is a personal responsibility and you should have to pay for it yourself. I also think that Georgetown student is an idot for saying birth control costs around $3,000 a year. I would love to know what she uses that would cost that much a year.

Yeah, she's a lying publicity hungry skank.

Seriously...$3K a year for that shit? And her tuition at one of the prestigious law universities in the country is, what...$25K a year? Fucking brilliant one, this one.

And did you notice in her "testimony" she said her tuition is largely covered by us, the taxpayer, already. :brick:

And yeah, my girl took pills and I can assure you, they were not even remotely close to what this lying libtard is claiming. Unless, like you said, maybe she is getting gangbanged by the entire campus on a weekly basis.

Rush is the greatest pundit in the history of punditry . Deal with it. And when the Breitbart's and Limbaugh's of the world elicit this much hatred from the left they are doing something right.

He's not going anywhere. Suck it.

I like how everyone says he's doing his job. If I were to start literally shitting all over Ronald Reagan's headstone and calling him Satan every morning, conservatives would be outraged. "No it's ok guys, its my job to piss you off."

Stop the GOP's war on women!

Medical authorities have come to regard contraception essential to public health. Most American women regard access to it as an important freedom. Expanded access to contraception has driven down teen pregnancy and abortion rates in almost every demographic group over the last two decades. Those are good things, right?

That could only be true if the only thing birth control did was allow people to "slut around". For all those normal woman out there that don't slut around it's a valuable tool not only so they can appropriately plan when and even if they want to get pregnant in the most reasonable, efficient, and ethical way they can but even more importantly not add people to our society they might not be able to take care of. You know, the thing people like Rush would bitch incessantly about an even greater amount if a situation came up where somebody did that.

It's not just something that is used so people can screw each other with lessened consequences, it's an extremely valuable thing for our entire society, and saves us much MUCH more in cost than the alternative. That's the reason we should pay for it, not the slutting around part. The fact Rush and people can't seem to grasp something like that is bewildering, especially considering how much more complaining and moral outrage would happen with the alternative.

Great point. You forgot to mention that contraception is essential to public health. In the case of Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown student, she is advocating for contraception to be covered under Georgetown University’s private insurance plan. Fluke became active on the issue after her friend developed ovarian cysts and found that the oral contraception she needed to stop the cysts from growing was not covered under the school’s insurance.

Some people who are talking about birth control are just so uniformed on the issue. The fact is that there are actual health benefits that come from taking birth control. It has nothing to do with religious freedom, it's simply about women's health. Contrary to popular belief it isn't just used for women to 'slut around'

That's fine and dandy. Don't expect taxpayers to furnish it for them.

Funny how people have a problem with birth control being covered but they don't have a problem with Viagra being covered. Birth control isn't like Viagra, you don't pop a pill right before you know you're going to have sex:facepalm:

Viagra can be justified because ED is a medical condition.

So the fact that contraception lowers cancer risk, relieves Endometriosis, relieves Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, those aren't medical conditions?

All conditions as the result of sexual intercourse. The pill also increases a woman's chance of a heart attack. A drug that enables a person to engage in sexual activity when they could not otherwise is not the same as contraception.

Conspiracy...
A bit of an over the top comment, but his basic point is that subsidized birth control is akin to taxpayers paying for women to have protected sex. So, by Rush's logic, if we are paying for this woman to have sex, then she's a slut. I get it.

Plus, in an excerpt of the testimony, the woman states, unprovoked, "I am not a promiscuous woman," and in my experience, the biggest sluts are commonly the ones who feel compelled to let people know that they aren't sluts. :2 cents:

I agree, she is a slut. :D

Feminism has led women astray. ... I love the women's movement — especially when walking behind it." -- on Fox News' "Fox & Friends," Feb. 3, 2010 :1orglaugh

He also said if the taxpayers have to pay for contraception they should put the videos online.

Well, isn't she? :dunno:

Fuck it, let her boyfriend(s) buy the pills for her. I'd pay for them pills ONLY if she has sex with me.

If a person thinks they are mature enough to have sex, then they should be responsible enough to buy their own birth control. As a society people need to learn to take care of their responsibilites. So many people these days expect everyone else to take care of them and they don't know what hard work is. There are already places where men and women can get low priced birth control.

Why did this turn into a huge political/social argument? The fact of the matter is that it's poor form for a person in a position such as his to call a woman a slut. I don't see how it's any better than Imus calling black women "Nappy-Headed Hoes" and he got shitcanned for it if I remember correctly.
