It's a damn travesty that neither Fred Flintstone or Barney Rubble won emmys for the excellent work they did on "The Flintstones"! Pound for pound the best actors of their day! A further travesty is the fact that they were forever typecast & had a helluva time finding work after this. Everyone knows that Fred Flintstone was in fact a classically trained Shakespearean actor...even playing Claudius in Hamlet on Broadway before taking the "Flintstones" gig! Like I said....damn shame!!!

If anyone gets a chance....and you haven't already....you have to check out "Fred Flintstone....The E True Hollywood Story"!!! They even reveal the problems with alcoholism, drugs, and sex orgies that plagued Fred following the cancellation of his show! Though he continues to deny it....there was even some gay porn that he did in the late 70's when his drug habit got REALLY bad & he needed the money! Really a sad story!
