You do know you have to wait for him to be inaugurated for him to do any of the things he says he will do? So for now you just have to make due with his word.

The guy won't be inagurated for another 10 days, hasn't performed a single act as president; so on what objective basis can one state the he was "a huge mistake"??
I had my doubts about Bush all along, but I didn't actively oppose him until I'd given him four years to prove me wrong.
Thats the point I dont believe anything he has said and I dont think people should go on and on about how wonderful he is until he actually does more then talk

Could there have been be a lesser qualified appointment ? You can't call him Mr. President, only Mr. President Elect or The President Elect. Once he becomes President, then forever he will be Mr. President (even after out of office, with caveats, of course).
Every single President in my lifetime has always been referred to as "President Elect" once he was elected, but before he was sworn in. It's not for media effect, but respect for the institution.
Now I have to question what "respect" you have for the office. But that just goes to my longstanding problem with most Americans and their understanding of civics.

Over 200 years later, let alone the centuries of writings before that, only prove why the founders considered the commoner to be a dangerous individual if given direct control.

Now I took issues with the number of lobbyists or lobbyist ties some of his appointees have. He obviously did not "keep his word" from his campaign.
At the same time, every now and then, he does actually "go outside the box" and try to get someone who has little exposure in an area, but is still qualified. Maybe not the best, but the best he feels with. And then people criticize him over "experience" and "better candidates."
You can't have it both (or all) ways.
If he's going to go "outside the box" on nominations, then he's going to hit "less experienced" people. Lobbyists are everywhere, and it doesn't take much to "qualify" as a lobbyist. That includes a good 98%+ of people who are already around Washington, and had former (and even future) public service roles.
Let him build his cabinet and then we can base our views on what they do. Until then, let it go.
I can understand people like myself who complain about him hiring and bringing on way, way too many lobbyists and those associated with major lobbyist organizations, special interest, etc... when he promised not to (and then used the excuse "we need experience" in many cases).
But at the same time, I don't criticize his selections on lack of experience, especially if they are coming at it from another area for a reason that "Mr. President Elect" feel more comfortable with. After all, if we really want to get on the "experience" non-sense, then we'd have to go down the road of many Presidents, their cabinets, etc...

I don't mind the use of the title, currently that is what he is until his inauguration. However what I am sick of is all the current assholes out there trying to make a buck by selling "AMERICAN HISTORY".
