That would hurt sony bad. Would hurt them more than microsofts loss per console! No one would buy a PS3 if that happened, then everyone would already own a 360 so much less likely to even bother with the PS3 at all!

I've been waitin for PS3 too actually was gonna wait another year till I got either. But with tax time comin up, and I realize I can't get a new tv at least not the one I want till NEXT tax time. I'm gonna cave and get a 360 real soon. I'm tired of waitin on shit!

i'l get it when the price drops, the 360 price is dropping so i may end up gettin one of them. There's always the Wii but that may have limited life span!
Just my opinion but I wouldn't accept a PS3 if it was attached to a bag of money.
I like to get playstation 3 but is too expensive so I may get it when the price go down.

Nothing has been announced yet , but I think the price could drop around the holiday season .
Unless Sony can get their heads out of their asses and give me a significant price drop (like -$150-200), I won't be buying one.
$600 for the good one + $60 per game + $$$for extra controllers...not worth it.
Honestly speaking, it's cheaper for me to upgrade my PC - and that has such a wider selection of games.

I bought a PS3 right away and I must say that it's been worth every cent I spent on it.
The games I bought with it are : Virtua Fighter 5, Virtua Tennis 3, Motorstorm and Full-Auto 2. (please stay away from FA2, it sucks with a capital S)
Later on I got Enchanted Arms.
For me, the pros definetly outweigh the cons.
I've got a good reliably Blu-Ray player wich goes perfect with my HDTV.
The wireless SixaxiS controllers work like a charm.
And the media options such as storing filmsclips (yes, even some of your downloaded porn clips - depends on the format tough) work like a charm.
