Ok boys its going to be in full swing here soon. Lets hear the sleeper picks. Im going with Bengals in the AFC and Carolina(not a huge sleeper) in the NFC.

Not sure but I think the Raiders might be something, especially with the bajillion dollar back-field, and the Niners still gonna suck but Patrick Willis will kill somebody, like poof just the cleats remain and the other player is in Dimension X. Serious business.

untill the Bengals fix the defense the should worry about finishing last in the division.I think K.C. has a goods chance of vast improvement if the drafted players jell quickly. Oakland has no o-line so the bajalion dollar backfield won't produce.

Bengals hired a new DC and added a few new faces to the mix.

NFC Carolina Panthers.

Rough for a Saints fan to say. They draft Jonathan Stewart to go along with Deangelo Williams. Peppers has disappeared for 2 years now he could wake up and go to a pro bowl. A younger Dan Morgan in Dan Connor. They will make a run.

What does everyone agree about the Commish lighting the fuse on Rook salaries being way out of whack versus paying the veterans. Trey Wingo ended a segment on the issue saying basically something is wrong when Matt Ryan makes more than Tom Brady. WHich, of course is true. Although I'm sure Tom Brady makes a shitload more (off the books in the "backend")..

Will the Player's Union go to the mattresses on this issue versus the Commish and the Owners?

I agree with "Rog" and it seems like a no-brainer, why would any owner want to pay millions of dollars to an untested kid? You give a shitload of money to players who have proven themselves on the field. Im starting to really like Goodell, id have to say best commissioner in pro sports.

As for a sleeper, I think the Falcons will come out and play with their hearts in their hands all year after all the shit they've been through in the past year. I doubt they'll win more than 5 or 6 games, but they'll give other teams a run for their money.

I picked my Dolphins as a sleeper, but the team and the management are too new to be a serious threat. Although, with Parcells at the head of the organization, they should win at least 3 times as many games as they did last year. :o

well the redskins problem is their division is one of the strongest in the NFL all 4 teams are playoff threats and Superbowl contenders. I think the commish fired the rookie vs veteran shot on purpose hoping to divide the union some.I hope the owners let the players strike and replace them with AFLers and Canadians ,those games will be real interesting and the players will capitulate just like last time

So, what a shock. It appears that Brett "The Greatest Fraud" Favre is having "second thoughts" about retirement. I assume that now that he's had a chance to see all the expenses that his lifestyle incurs, and now with no income coming in...Papa is having thoughts about how to afford the mansions, the cars, the mistresses etc..

To all the people that cried along with "Fraudver" at that sham press conference..don't you all feel like chumps now that your hero played you for clowns??? Haha!

I need to go find that Brett Favre crying photo I posted awhile ago and make it my new avatar...where is KungFu Dude when we need him!!

You would think most of the players should agree considering only a small portion of them any year are the top rookies making that much. Considering they are outnumbered by veterans by a lot it's what would make the most sense. Then again maybe the union is automatically against pretty much anything that might lower somebody's salary at this point.

Ummm... Tom Brady can get run over by a jet. In fact John Edward Thomas can do the honors in many years. As you can tell not a fan of Brady. He did something that still pisses me off to this day. Bastard.

I think that if Favre decides to come back it won't be because he's going broke. I think that, based on how the Packers played last year, he thinks he has a shot at winning another ring. With the money that he makes, both in salary and endorsements, I doubt he'll ever have to worry about going broke.
