NPR Analyst Juan Williams gets the boot for...

Going on The O'Reilly Factor and saying that he fears for his life if he sees a Muslim person on an airplane. Anyone who has ever watched the show knows that this guy is usually on there 2 or more times a week.

Not the best quality vid:

I particularly like Juan Williams because he speaks his mind, especially on Fox News Sunday. This man whether you like him not, I don't find him a racist. The age of political correctness has possibly ruined his image/reputation.

CAIR is the the group responsible for getting him fired when they demanded disciplinary action against his statement.

That's a group that needs to go away.

Though Sarah Spitz can talk about how she'd laugh if she watched Rush Limbaugh dying and wishes he was dead and she isn't fired. Talk about Muslims and you are immediately fired.

If a person were to say: "When I see a black person on the street I get nervous because I think there's a chance I might be robbed" would that statement be tolerated? Absolutely not. But that's basically what he has said here, so why should anyone feel sorry for him?

Bout time the standard was applied equally. More than a few journalists got the can for offending other minorities while O'Reiley, Kilmeade and Peretz gave the Premium Link Upgrade to muslims with no repercussion.

He spoke his mind and some people didn't take too kindly to it...that's the breaks.

It's done every day when public figures promote unjust fear/hatred of Blacks, Jews, etc...I suppose it was about time for vilified Muslims to get their PC card.:dunno:

What's funny is the huh-bub over Whoopie exiting stage left off of Billo's rant on Muslims when she's part Jewish.

She's going on the Factor in a couple weeks. And how is she Jewish?

Juan is a regular on the sunday morning Fox show hosted by Chris Douglas.I never thought much of him,he was supposedly one of the moderate even portrayed as a liberal member of the panel. He was anything but and this comment is keeping in that farce mold. But thats Fox for ya,conservative BS 24-7.

:dunno: Beta Israel...I dunno...look it up. I just recall her saying something about her having a Catholic and Jewish background once...that's why she uses "Goldberg" in her stage name.

Her real name is Caryn Elaine Johnson. She isn't Jewish. Her ****** told her she wouldn't make it because her name isn't "Jewish enough" to make her a star.

IMDB bios are generally more accurate because they come directly from the pub or actor themselves. Fans usually complete wiki bios from anecdotes, etc. ...possibly even jokes as that reference is from a joke she told once in stand-up.:2 cents:

Here is the source about her ****** talking about her name not being Jewish enough. That's what it comes down to for Wikipedia.

Meh. Either way she isn't Jewish.

Maybe now Juan Williams will actually go back to being a useful journalist rather than a BillO the clown kiss ass.

I heard him on NPR and he seemed very misinformed on every issue whenever he appeared there. I guess that's the beauty of working for Fox...no research/preparation/factual awareness needed :dunno:

Speaking of Bill O, I wonder if this means Juan will not be on there anymore? I have to tell you I really did enjoy seeing him on the Factor as well as Miller.

Ok time to intervene and let me remind you one rule which is that the board forbids racial discrimination. None gives a damn if one is jewish or not. Among journalists, you have clueless and racist morons. Judge people by their acts.
