jitna I always liked that growing up. It was exciting and as far as natural disasters go they really are my ist choice. You get so much warming time. You literally have at least a week usually and you prepare. We used to have hurricane parties and our house was 120 years old and built super solid so our house was always good. There's something cool about how a neighborhood and a community comes together when there's no power and evereything kind of stops or at least slows down. Now don't get me wrong I think storms and the effects of storms such as Katrina are a horrible devastation that is NOT cool. That's not at all what I am talking about. I'm talking about the lesser ones and the season itself. I just ....liked it. I miss it. Weird I know.

having lived in the southeast for the past five years ive had to keep my eye on them, but i usually let weather.com tell me when to watch out. but feel free to stop by Nikki hurricanes stay away from us. they usually just skip from Florida to NC.

I know the feeling but after this bipolar spring we had this year, I prefer the weather to be around 72-82 degress outside, nice weather

So yeah, they are fairly rare for your neck of the woods. Not as rare as Pennsylvania...but rare just the same. They still talk about Agnes in PA, and that was nearly 40 years ago. Ha ha ha!

yeah, we dont have any of that. none of that togetherness and parties, but then again also no disasters either so far. so i think thats a fair trade off.

im going to agree. hurricanes seem much preferred over earthquakes and tornadoes. and personally id rather watching a hurricane than have to suffer through a blizzard. 18 years of that was more than enough.

Personally I'd take a blizzard...far less damage even in a SEVERE blizzard. You can just relax and take it easy and wait for them to plow you out. Usually nothing bad happens if you stay indoors. I mean, you can have roof collapses...but that is usually when you allow it to accumulate on a flat roof over several snows.

yeah, but 1) no one has any problem if you drive away from an incoming hurricane and 2) blizzards are cold.

As a matter of fact I just learned that myself. So I was going to pop in and share the info with everyone & here you broached the subject yourself. Ha ha ha! Anyway, it's going to be down all night tomorrow night (late night that is...EDT) through early Saturday morning.

Anyway, here is the scoop (I put the important part in bold):

Henry and Boldy are headed over to the states (feel free to alert the appropriate authorities!) to move around some servers on Friday. They're going to try to work quick, but there will be some downtime for FreeOnes.

The planned maintenance starts at 11pm EST on Friday and they hope to get things wrapped up by 8am EST on Saturday. Their first priority is to get FreeOnes.com and the board up and running!

Just wanted to let everyone know so you can make plans to go out side and get your yearly dose of fresh air!!

I'm in Manila, Jitna.

That sounds like pure heaven to me right now! Technically it is monsoon season here but we haven't had the first monsoon yet. They usually don't kick in until July and August. I LOVE monsoons in the desert. It's hot as fuck and dry and then out of nowhere the sky turns dark and the winds gust and in some cases you can barely see from all of the desert sand and dust kicking up. Then crazy loud thunder starts and lightning bolts that don't even look real they're so intense and then the rain just pours down. As soon as the rain starts the dust clears and it feels like pure magic. I love swimming in my pool during a monsoon. I've been chomping at the bit waiting for the first one to hit. Come on......storms! haha

I also enjoy swimming during the rainy monsoon. But not always because when it's raining here in Manila for 3 days non-stop, it means flooding everywhere and crazy ass landslides.

Well its about damn time, but yes I rejoined Premium Link Upgrade SO damn happy to be back on that site.

I knew I could not stay away long. Getting ready to go to some concerts tonight. I got my band playing tomorow afternoon. Eventhough Im not on drums yet. I still have shits loads of fun

Thanks sweetie. That's actually one of my favorites and I **** 99% of my pics. My friend Lisa took that pic. Many of you guys might know who she is. Her name is Lisa Boyle and she was a former Playboy model who is now a kick ass photographer! She's one of my closest friends and she took that pic in the doorway of her bedroom when she was shooting me for my site.
