I have OFFICIALLY maxed out on my votes @ 5588 votes! Our realistic goals for Monday are 6,000 votes and 28th place! Of course we need all the help we can get, so if you have the time....PLEASE vote & PLEASE try to max out and cast 50 votes. It usually allows you to cast 11 votes before taking a break. Factoring in everything that is involved....that would indeed happen! Shit, I should know....I've tried! Ha ha ha! Failed once (didn't try HARD enough)....but hey, that's life!

Now, what we should aim for is getting Nikki the MUCH DESERVED OCSM of the Year in the Miss FreeOnes Contest....NOW, that one ACTUALLY carries with it a CASH PRIZE!!! Something to shoot for anyway!

Now we all know Nikki is one of the coolest, sweetest, and most loveable (not to mention incredibly beautiful.....I say beautiful, because sexy/sexiest isn't as all encompassing) PEOPLE you could hope to, or that you'll find anywhere & in any walk of life. No surprise there. The surprise is that, those things being a fact, even then you are still barely even scratching the surface! Anyone who has any contact with her, regardless of how "brief," should consider themselves fortunate because you simply do not find PEOPLE like her around anymore...she is truly one of a kind!

Bottom line....Nikki is simply a REALLY good person & isn't that the TRUE mark of SUCCESS (of a human being) & something that everyone should aspire to be?

Okay, enough gushing....just TRYING to keep it real!now it's time for lunch (bit past it really), then I'm watching my movie...haven't had a chance yet! Will report back later! That's BOTH a promise AND a threat! Ha ha ha!

I should hope so, BUT I must admit, some of the results last year had me....well, for lack of a better word....BAFFLED! Ha ha ha! Sadly, many of those who vote actually have little or no exposure (you know what I mean pervs) to what goes on in here! I can not imagine, and I know you agree, that anyone who has been exposed to Nikki in any way, could do anything but vote for her!

Splitting up my post for a change....I finally finished watching "The King's Speech"! Though I basically knew what to expect, and I did feel a bit obligated to see it as it WAS the Oscar winner for "Best Picture," I came away with many of the same feelings as Nikki did.

It is a historical piece & based on a true story and true events, it's well casted, and well acted.....those are the plusses. On the minus side, much like Nikki pointed out, the story REALLY is about a man with a stammer (a stutterer if you will) and his relationship with his speech therapist. As a side story, that would work fine. However, in this case, this IS the story, everything else (George V dying, King Edward VIII's abdication...and the story behind that, & World War II for instance) is thee BACK story. Another area that I was keenly aware was in the area of the use of dramatic license. Some of my favorite parts of the film were scenes that included, in my opinion, very healthy uses of dramatic license! Ha ha ha!

Bottom line, a stammer isn't exactly a "plight" that engenders the kind of emotion in a viewer that is necessary to actually care enough to make this film a home run excellent film. I mean, even the climax, George VI giving his war speech, doesn't really bring the kind of joy and happiness of the viewer as someone accomplishing something amazing and overcoming a serious plight in life would & it is hardly all the exciting to be perfectly honest. I believe the stammering issue would have worked better as a back story....but then again that wasn't the purpose of this film.....it REALLY IS about his stuttering plain and simple! And, a VERY wealthy man, who later becomes King (by default at that) who also just happens to stammer and stutter fails to really pull at one's heart strings.....which in my opinion is necessary to make a film of this type REALLY work well enough to be called a truly excellent film. Long story short, it wasn't really enough to make me REALLY & TRULY care. Like Nikki said....good film....BUT, not exactly great. I'd probably give it 3/4 stars....and then only based on the cast and acting....which really was great!

fortunately, the way its set up (or at least how i think itll be set up) we get more powerful every year.

geez. You guys are just so full of love and sweetness lately. If someone just cruised in here and didn't look at the history of this thread they would think I have been passing out some "magic" koolaid or something. haha.
You guys would be proud of me by the way. You all know I struggle with the whole NOT sticking to a workout routine thing and what not. Well you also know something pretty fucking shitty happened on Saturday if you read my blog or follow me on twitter. I haven't specified what because I don't want too many tid bits of personal life being revealed to just anyone reading my thread but basically there is a mourning period that usually takes place when such a thing happens. I spent the weekend in my jammies eating mac n cheese n candy and watching movies. I worked on some behind the scenes footage from Fridays shoot so it was still somewhat productive but not much. I was a depressed pile of human flesh with self tormenting thoughts swirling around in the 'ol noggin'. Well this morning I woke up with intensive energy and focus. I was literally DYING to get to the gym. I worked out harder than I have in a LONG time and actually LOVED it! WTF? I then went for sushi for lunch and then came home and swam laps in my pool. I was so exhausted I fell asleep for a bit and my body is already sore but in a good way. I just ate dinner and am now about to clean all 3 bathrooms and do laundry and then take a long hot bath. Tomorrow morning up early for yoga and then some appointments. After that back to real life work hours but I must say I am rather happy I am dealing with the stress in such a healthy way. The biggest part of that is the positive energy around me. I have the best friends in the world and you guys add to all of that with your awesomeness and positivity. A GIGANTIC thank you from me to you!!!

I liked them (Rubik's Cubes)...like when I was a kid in the early 80's. Doesn't do that much for me any more though!

By the way....Next Halloween I think I'm going to go as a slutty Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
