Anyone here even care about NCAA hockey? The gophers made it to the Frozen Four, but we missed out on a UMD/UM semi, which would have been super cool. They get BC now though, and that team hasn't lost in 15 consecutive. I also like that Ferris St. and Union have both made their first appearance, so the final will be great.

I look forward to seeing BC against the Univeristy of Minnesota.

I don't know how this will play out but BC looked like a team that won 15 straight when I just watched them kick the crap out of defending champs our UMD Bulldogs.

If UM's goalie Patterson plays lights out they can definitely play on (they were ranked #1 for a decent part of the year) but BC looks like an incredible team.

sorry if i piss any leafs fans off, but this is so true...

Two thoughts:

1. What the hell, Detroit?

2. I wonder who would win in a game, the NCAA hockey champion or the CIS hockey champion...

So apparently a source close to Nathan Horton says he's most likely done for the year. Fucking great ...

In other news, Puck Daddy posted this Top 10 list of Dangles earlier. Most diehards here have likely already seen all of them, but it's still worth a watch...

Yeah Horton is out for the season, which sucks because he was great last playoffs as Mr. Clutch in game 7 overtimes. However maybe if the Bruins resort putting a shit load of goals in the net like they did around November. Then we won't have to worry about game 7's and overtimes.

That is hilarious, but I have to ask: Did anyone really think that Connolly and Armstrong were good ideas even at the time? Also, what about Jeff Finger? I know he is in the AHL and not counting against the cap but talk about a bad contract.

What is it? What kind of talent does it produce? I thought everyone who had decent game went Juniors.

I'd like to see the Canadian Junior all stars versus the NCAA all stars, but I don't know what this CIS is.

The CIS is the Canadian version of the NCAA, basically. The majority of the good players here do go to the CHL (and personally, I don't think the NCAA would have a chance against a team of CHL all stars) but a couple stay in school.

The Canadian Junior all stars would without question be the better team but an NCAA all star team would be made up of - if not entirely - future NHLers. I still think it would be pretty cool to check out.

U of Toronto comes down and plays Notre Dame every year, and they get trounced almost every time.

lol Toronto tonight (again). jebus.

Interesting read about Montreal and Toronto:

its so true. i have never heard a crowd boo louder than montreal. theyve had their hands on that teams throat since the first expansion, and refuse to give their players a chance without playing under a microscope. if i was a pro player, id take a pay cut just to stay out of that city. they chase players out like frankenstein when theyre bad, and make crappy rap songs when theyre good. it isnt 1967 anymore, someone let montreal know.
