Rangers are the East San Jose. Chokers.

Florida is the only team I can honestly say is solid top to bottom. No matter who they play, the matchups are heavily in their favour. Faceoffs, PP, PK, goaltending, depth, etc.

How much did you drink today?

Rangers will take the East. And that will be good, too.

i have drank more than humanly capable today, and i say the rangers will squeak out in 1st place... but if i were a rangers fan, id be worried about their 2nd round opponents with the way theyve been playing.

Pshh, it's not the playoffs yet. Florida's decent, but they've really only got one scoring line.

Are you high? In any other division they aren't even in the playoffs. They have 83 points in the East. Are 12th in Faceoff %, 8th in PP %, 24th in PK %, 15th in GAA (both as a team and Theodore alone). All of these FACTS show that they are average at best. Also, the worst part is you can't even argue that they are on the upswing like LA, because it's not like they made any impact additions at the deadline. The truth is if anyone is getting bounced in the first despite home-ice advantage it is Florida. Also, how can you label the Rangers chokers? What has this current core done to show you they choke? It is Richards first year with the team, they were the 8 seed last year, didn't make it the season before and the year before that were the 7 seed. How do they have a track-record like San Jose to where you can call them chokers?

Florida/St Louis Stanley Cup
No way I can see Flordia maybe going to the Eastern conference finals like Tampa Bay last year but no. As for St. Louis I would love to see them play Nashville in the playoffs I'll definetly watch that series.

Florida's a good team, but they can't go seven games blow-for-blow with a team like Pittsburgh. They could possibly get out of the first round but if they reached the second round they'd be easy prey for the Flyers or Penguins. And, remember they aren't even guarenteed a playoff spot. A couple of losses and they drop down to ninth.

In my opinion Nashville is the team to beat in the West, especially if Radulov comes back. Their goaltending and defence are the best in the West, save possibly St. Louis.

the devils better get their shit together within the next 10 games. wouldnt mind finishing in 6th, because the southern division is a shitstorm right now... their play is becoming predictable.

Anyone else notice that LA is making a real run. Since getting Carter they are averaging 3.5 Goals per Game, and even Dustin Penner as scored in back to back games. And of course they are second on the season in Goals Against and have a Vezina front-rummer in Johnathan Quick. Obviously they still have a lot of games to play but St. Louis on Thursday should be a great match-up.

Yes I have seen how the Kings have made improvements in the goal scoring category and it's about time.

I was thinking the same thing about my team, the Flyers. Much rather see them play the Panthers or Capitals in the 1st round instead of the Penguins or Rangers.

i know how you feel... thats why i wasnt that upset over the 3-0 loss to the flyers not too long ago. im liking their chances at a 6 spot right now... the south is very, very weak.

as a side note, i never understood why players got so angry from a face wash... until i smelled my gloves(and tried getting the smell off my hands) after using the same gloves for 5 months. good god, that smell sticks like glue to everything it touches

Yeah whole face wash or paint brushing is pretty much the ultimate sign of disrespect in hockey, same thing with snowing the goalie when he goes down to cover the puck.

Basically if the whistle has blown and the Canucks are doing it, it is disrespectful and classless.

Anyone here even care about NCAA hockey? The gophers made it to the Frozen Four, but we missed out on a UMD/UM semi, which would have been super cool. They get BC now though, and that team hasn't lost in 15 consecutive. I also like that Ferris St. and Union have both made their first appearance, so the final will be great.

i wouldnt mind seeing my flyguys take on either 3 teams, only teams that threaten the flyers are rangers and boston in our division.
