Wouldn't have been a problem if Khudobin (whatever the fuck his name is) didn't have a wrist injury... everything I've heard about his says he's a more than capable backup/prospect. All things considered, I'm happy with Turco. He's been really good in the past, and he'll probably only get into 4-5 games for the B's.

trust me, im not complaining about the devils choice for a coach... but i really had high hopes for them to snag hitchcock. i truly believe with the talent on the team, theyd be owning the eastern conference right now through his system...

He needs to be used for more than 4-5 games, maybe 6 or 8. Thomas has been letting in a few soft goals, and Corvo on defense isn't making it any better.

Yes Turco should have started yesterday. Thomas has been letting in too many soft goals lately, his glove side is weak. It's funny ever since he started spouting his political views his skills have quickly diminished. They should have traded him at the deadline, I'd would have loved to see him sent to Detroit for Jimmy Howard or Los Angeles for Jonathan Quick, imagine either of those goalies between the pipes for the Bruins.
Yeah but even at his current standard of play, he's still better than most... it's easy to forget that when you're so used to him having been unbeatable. As far as the trades you mentioned... There's no way Detroit or LA would take that deal straight up 1 for 1 (well, maybe LA
). They'd want a young stud/projected stud if they're going to trade their young number 1 away. Not to mention the fact the B's aren't looking to pick up a young goalie. Rask is definitely gonna be the man in Beantown for a while. I honestly think that if you gave him a full season with about 65 games, he'd be as good if not better than Quick and Howard at the end of it.Throw in Seguin and you might have a fair trade.

It just seems to me that Thomas is just burned out, not to mention the Bruins defense is playing horrid. I know Corvo is my whipping boy for the most part but Chara needs to get his act back together, and that trade for Zanon was a waste they should not have gotten rid of Kampfer. He was young, and could score and knock players around. Also Krecji seems to be the only one that is putting the puck in the net, however the rest of the team needs to get back on track.
it really baffles me that they play better without him. the first time he went out on injury, malkin made a name for himself and established his career pretty much.
