Wow! Panthers! Start Clemmensen for Game 4? I have always loved Jose Theodore, and I have always had faith in him and felt that he's a stellar goaltender despite the many aspersions that have been cast against him (in my opinion, unfairly); he's always performed well and his struggles were always overblown. However, I say you start Clemmensen for Game 4. He was pretty good in net and the Panthers went from down 3-0 to winning 4-3 with him in net. And he's proven himself as a starter when he had to fill in for Brodeur (irony) a couple of years back and he played really well this year down the stretch for the Panthers. See if it works, if not, the series is tied 2-2, you have two of the three remaining games at home, and you can go back to Theodore...

Preds got robbed on a bullshit no-goal call. Should be 2-1 Nashville right now.

The only reason they did score that first (according to the scoreboard, but actually second one in the net) goal, was because of the whistle off of the waived off goal. The no-goal set-up that faceoff. So they still got it, the score is exactly where it would be had they gotten that call correct.

It must suck to root for a team so shit, that you have to resort to rooting against another team for any sort of satisfaction.

So Andrew Shaw gets three games, James Neal gets one, Arron Asham gets four (and should have got more) and now Torres is going to get a multi-game suspension as well. Anyone want proof that playoff hockey is intense?

Maybe the fans felt he had several seasons. However, they had a brand new regime last season and he missed most of the season with a knee injury. Also, the system that Guy Boucher runs is the 1-3-1, the same system that the Devils ran when they were winning Cups. I think he would have been a lot better this year in Tampa than you'd think.

So both Florida and Jersey have pulled their starting goalies, both after giving up 3 in a row. Can anyone remember this happening in the playoffs? Especially only 3 minutes into the second!

Maybe he would have performed under the 1-3-1 system, but it doesn't seem to have helped any of the goaltenders in Tampa. The X-Factor, I think, is Phoenix's coaching staff. They've worked magic with Bryz and Smith now and turned both from part time starters to full blown great goaltenders.

I wish the Tampa boys were still around so I could ask them who they think Tampa should get to fill their net next year. Aside from Schneider, of course. Everyone is going to be after him.

Theodore has never seemed to be that great of a playoff goaltender (though I guess you could chalk that up to the team's he has played for), but I like him too. He's a legitimate good guy and he's a capable goaltender for any team. He just has a lot of really bad games.

That said, I would start Clemmensen in game four. That's the third game in a row where Theodore has let multiple goals in rapid sucession, so I think he needs to just have a break, sit down and maybe take a look at the Devils' attack a bit better.

Oh yeah, and Diva, Marlo... How about those Red Wings getting beat by a good goaltender? NOW YOU KNOW MY PAIN!

Schneider is supposed to be getting the nod for game 4. Pretty much shows who they want in net in a must win game. Luongo isn't wanted there anymore.

So far this year's playoffs seem to be more intense than usual. Nicklas Backstrom gets 1 game too. Based on Torres being a repeat offender and his victim (Hossa) being taken to the hospital his suspension will be lengthy.

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
Oh yeah, and Diva, Marlo... How about those Red Wings getting beat by a good goaltender? NOW YOU KNOW MY PAIN!

Yeah, it seems like it happens to the Red Wings more than just this year!!! Niemi, Rinne, etc...

Atleast I can take solace in the fact that the Canuncks, & the Pens are more than likely gonna be eliminated as well. :nanner: misery loves company!!

Well some bitch.. I can't fuckin believe Detroit lost again @ home... Rinne is just a bad MF'er and I swear every bad bounce / bad luck possibility happened and went against Detroit almost everytime. All 4 of Nashville's goals were weird fuckin plays... and Nashville got just about every single lucky break near there own goal..

The Red Wings are as good as dead barring a miracle comeback which I have absolutely no confidence of that happening, so what do the Red Wings do?? do they continue to play this wussy euro style next year as well or do they beef up and try a different approach?? Clearly all the teams we compete against are now bigger, stronger, and more physical then we are, and it shows now EVERY single playoff year!!! :dunno::cussing::mad:

Do we trade Howard, and go for the world class goaltender? or do we fire Babcock? Do we fire Holland? Do perhaps trade Zetterberg? How do we stay competitive or improve to the level of being the favorites to win the Stanley Cup again? :dunno:

I do know its definitely time for a change, a big change, cuz this formula just isn't working anymore!! :brick::horse:

Keep Babcock? Who has a better track record, really?

Keep Hank. He's a world class player.

I'm iffy on Howard. He's let in some weak ass goals. I'd give him another year or two.

Definitely keep Holland. Who else would you want running the team??
