I think Quebec and Winnipeg are way more suited to host teams now than they were previously.
Does this stupid center ice gathering stick holding up bs bother anybody? It's so overused it's ridiculous. Do it when you win a series. Do it in your last game of the season at home. Do it when you have something worth celebrating or thanking the fans. Don't do it when you win a single playoff game.

Chicago has been outplayed in every facet in each of the first three games of the series. No net presence, no net minding, and just generally awful play on the ice. Down 3-0 is a long road to climb back. It appears that whatever edge we had on Vancouver after eliminating them the last two years is completely gone. It'd be great to get at least one win rather than being swept out of the playoffs.

I had the Hawks losing the series against Vancouver. All my friends thought I was crazy. I know the NHL playoffs are different from the other league's in that an lower seeded team can do some damage but this Hawks team is just so different from last years that I couldn't see them beating this Canuck's team.

I was optimistic, but we're not even putting up a fight. Our PK unit is awful right now. What I wouldn't give to have Byfuglien, Sopel, and Ladd out there on the ice for the Hawks.

good fight by the rangers today. if they had lost, they would have gone down 3-0 in the series and it would be over. Now they still got a shot. Lets even it up at 2-2 next game.

Vancouver is good. Really good. What makes you think they'll fall? To who? Detroit is beat up and questionable in net. San Jose is Boston west. Nashville doesn't have the fire power. Maybe Anaheim when they're hot.

Oh yeah I forgot too mention that the NHL needs way more TV coverage for its Playoffs @least! I have NOT been able too watch half of the fuckin series.. I've barely seen any of the Flyer's/Sabres, Pens/Lighting, Ducks/Predators, Sharks/Kings series... and I live in a HOCKEY mecca which is Detroit, one of the original six Cities to have a NHL team.. and I can hardly watch any of the other series, I get CBC which is the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, so I get there coverage along with national regional coverage from NBC, then I got fox sports Detroit which shows all the Red Wings games.. and Versus, But... between them all...
At night during the week when the games are on I get double and triple coverage of 1 fuckin game and can't watch any of the other games being played.. which SUCKS A$$... The NHL needs to hook up with ESPN again.. :2 cents:

Come across the river. Every game is televised. If two are on at the same time, they're on different channels. I don't think there is a game I haven't seen. CBC plays Montreal and Vancouver and everybody else is on TSN.

Damn your lucky!! I don't know if its my cable provider of whats.. but I don't get TSN.. I would love to come across the river every day, but between gas and bridge/tunnel toll, I'd be a broke MF'er!! Is TSN free on your cable network or is it an Xtra package you have to pay for? :dunno:
TSN comes with basic cable. Pretty cheap.

Are you fuckin serious?? Detroit hardly gets any fuckin calls, Holmstrom gets mugged in front of the net every shift.. Frazen sure looks like he's been mugged... and some of the calls against Detroit are laughable @ best... Helm gets called for interference to give the coyotes a 5 on 3 for almost 2 whole minutes are fuckin kidding me??
The refs can call a penalty on any player, just about anytime on any given shift in the playoffs!! on either team, both ways!! but too say the Red Wings have the REFS in there back pocket is so fuckin ridiculous that it makes you my friend, sound like you don't know :wtf: you are talkin about if you honestly think the refs give the Red Wings any breaks!!! if that's what you really believe then I have to say your fuckin NUTS!! in fact its totally the opposite! the REFS are HARDER on the Red Wings then they are against any other team that's for fuckin sure!!!

Tired of watching my Bruins look like dogshit in the playoffs. they play a methodical, bruising game, too bad they are playing a team that can improvise, anticipate and are sound defensively (especially against a plodding team like the Bruins). the Bs suck at home, for a division winner, and will be lucky if they can push this to 6 games. Not buying the "Chara was out" excuse. he was there for Game 1 and they got shut out.
