Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
...wrapped in bacon.

Anybody scared of what could happen if Edmonton gets the 1st overall pick to pair with Taylor Hall and the rest of those studs?

Nope they'll prolly lose them all to free agency after their 1st contracts are expired.. I don't think many players like playing in Canada unless they are getting grossly OVER paid.. I think they like playing for the BIG market teams, which are for the most extent south of the border along with nicer weather. of course that's just what me thinks. :2 cents::dunno:

p.s. I do know Toronto and Montreal, and even Vancouver are Hockey hot beds.. which get plenty of attention, but NOT like the major market teams in the states.

I just hope they can stay hot for the playoffs, ovechkin hasn't been outstanding yet

I remember at the start of the season when people were starting to claim ovechkin wasn't a good player anymore cause everyone had figured out how to stop him. How stupid... With Crosby out he's the best player in the league.

Yeah and he hasn't reached his best playing status yet... He gets mostly assists now(and a lot of them) and gets a goal every other game... But if he really gets going he could get a few assists and goals a game

This is usually the case. I have no reason to rip you a new one. You're right. The Oilers ALWAYS lose their young talent as soon as their contracts are up. This time around could be different though because we've recently seen two teams go from bottom-dwellers to Stanley Cup champions through hoarding high draft picks and developing prospects (the Penguins and Blackhawks). The Oilers are poised to do the same thing, so our young talent may ultimately decide to stay.

After last nights win I am hoping that my Sabres will at least make it to the frist round of the playoffs and maybe win and go on to the second. Being a realist though I think they will be knocked out in the first round.

I don't think we'll be losing these guys. Back in the 90s we were essentially a farm team and whenever one of our younger players contract was up you could pretty much count on them leaving as the team didn't have the money to compete with say the Rangers for example. Times are different now.

As for the whole players not wanting to play here. That's also B.S. as really we've sucked for so long that there's no reason for them to come here. I bet you if we were even close to being a playoff team a guy like Heatley would have come here. I mean if you're a superstar player in your prime do you really want to be wasting your best years playing for a team that's rebuilding? By the time they're ready to play for the Cup you'll be on the decline so you might as well sign with a contender when you can.

Matt Cooke suspended for the rest of the regular season (10 games) and the first round of the playoffs. good suspension, NHL.

That's been the trend, and Your right since the Salary Cap was put in place we've seen a couple of teams use there draft picks to elevate there teams value and success. Edmonton may have trouble re-signing all of these assets, when all the big market teams send offer sheets that edmonton won't be able to match. :2 cents: and I know its not fair but teams in the STATES have an automatic advantage with the lure of NICER weather. just saying.. :hatsoff:

They should ban this Douche, his only purpose is too try and hurt guys intentionally, he head hunts, he goes after guys knee's, he just ignores the rules ...

I can't wait too see somebody clean his clock.. I remember he got knocked out by one punch, but I mean I wanna see somebody line his A$$ up and decapitate him like he does to everybody else..

I remember reading somewhere online a few days ago that any team returning to Winnipeg won't be named the Jets. The company that will own the team doesn't have the rights to the name or something and are planning on using the Manitoba Moose name from their AHL team because they have already put quite a bit of money in building up the name in Manitoba. The article also mentioned that Winnipeg's AHL team may move to Saskatoon.

Vancouver's farm team in my home city? Fuck yeah.

please GOD take Atlanta. i hate having to watch the Lightning play in that dark blue, empty, quiet Philips Arena. nobody in Atlanta gives a shit about hockey. Winnipeg would appreciate the team much more.

are the Lightning aware they're allowed to score more than 2 goals a game? in their last 15 games, they've scored 2 or less 11 times. they don't seem to realize they can't win like that.

also, somebody want to inform Stamkos he is still allowed to score, period? he doesn't do that anymore.

and finally, ask them why they are consistently outplayed by teams with losing records in the bottom of the standings.

2 fucking wins in your last 10 games Tampa.

Tampa don't deserve to make the playoffs at this point. this is disgraceful

and Stamkos is not going to win the Rocket Richard trophy either. Corey Perry is only 4 behind him and Stamkos doesn't do shit anymore.
