New Formula One Season

Starts this sunday in Australia :D

Hopefully a McLaren 1-2 plz.

this might be interesting for those who know who Max Mosley is.

FORMULA One motor racing chief Max Mosley is today exposed as a secret sado-masochist sex pervert.

The son of infamous British wartime fascist leader Oswald Mosley is filmed romping with five hookers at a depraved NAZI-STYLE orgy in a torture dungeon. Mosley— a friend to F1 big names like Bernie Ecclestone and Lewis Hamilton— barks ORDERS in GERMAN as he lashes girls wearing mock DEATH CAMP uniforms and enjoys being whipped until he BLEEDS.

The multi-millionaire son of Sir Oswald, who was a pal of Adolf Hitler, plays a concentration camp commandant in a FIVE-HOUR torture chamber video.

I do not know about this newspaper, it might be a provocation. But there are so many stories about mayors, politicians and other famous people nowadays, that it sounds convincing enough. And this news were already replicated in many other countries and newspapers.

It`s true, it`s all over the news here in Europe. Bernie Ecclestone was commenting it today, saying the nazi stuff was just humor...

I hope that the old crook will have to resign from FIA. Not that I would be shocked or offended or anything like that because of this, but because I don`t like this a**hole - for so many reasons I don`t even want start writing about it...could write a book about why I don`t like him....

Let`s just say that I am a car guy and he`s not - while he`s probably the most powerful single person in Europe when it comes to making car and road traffic related decisions.
Right now his number one agenda is to use the forthcoming Galileo satellite positioning system to control speeding. Which means that in his dreamworld you would automatically get a speeding ticket by post if you exceed the speed limit anywhere in European Union. Unfortunately there is no technical reasons why this couldn`t be done. And as FIA(=Mosley) is pushing this, it may very well happen in the next decade. At least Mosley is doing his best to make it happen

Breakdown of the future of F1.
It sounds good to me, less areo, and bio-fuel.

If it was up to me besides maximum volume restrictions on the engine and the entire car in general and the fact the car would have to be safe enough not to accidentally kill the other drivers or the fans at the track the only rule I would have would be to not allow any electronic driving aids. Everything else they wanted to possibly do to make the car go as fast as possible I would allow. :2 cents:

I also have some question to him as a ruler of FIA, and I *dislike* many of his intentions. The only thing I do not like about the story with that orgy, is that it was kinda unfair tactik of the fight. Even admitting that his was an asshole, it would be much better if he was resigned because of his f-1 business, not because of his private life.
So, if he quits FIA, I will be happy. Even though I do not like the way it was achieved.

Yes, normally this type of vile exposures of peoples private life just make me sick, but in this case...it`s hard to keep the smile off my face when I read about this.
It would be nicer if he would be put aside because people don`t like his actions in FIA, rather than this lowly scheme, but it just didn`t seem very likely that he would have had to leave anytime soon - before this came up.
You know, he`s been rather aggressive when it comes to defending his position, and it would have taken a group of some very brave people to challenge him.
Ron Dennis knows what it means if you make the mistake of stepping on Mr.Mosley`s toes...I bet Ron`s been smiling all day long in the last couple of days :)

I haven't been following the circuit as much as I would like to :o.

What is the rubber like ? Are the drivers fairly happy with the current dry and wet tyres these days ? Anybody know ?

Lewis will hopefully win it this season!

He`s never gonna win it with this anti McLaren approach they are giving his team this season.

Yesterdays decision to demote him from 1st to 3rd for that little incident is a total farce!

Just hand the title to Ferrari now...Thats what they want.

Lou passed illegally and he had a clear advantage after that, he damaged Kimi's Ferrari and then he went on to win securely. I don't think he won fair and square

Raikkonen pushed him wide therefor he had to cut that corner or both would have been out.

He let Raikkonen back in front before passing him then Raikkonen passed Lewis before Lewis repassed him again.

How do they justify that?

TWICE Raikkonen was in front in that last 3 laps. :dunno:

Hamilton braked to let Raikonen pass the first time and then immediately accelerated (they were driving almost side by side for some meters). This was the illegal part.

There is proof from the McLaren telemetry that Hamilton slowed plus Raikonen was ahead over the start/finish line.

After that Raikonen was going a hell of alot slower than Hamilton due to the rain.

Nikki Benz: Simply the best #1!!
it's not the first time Lewis Hamilton do something illegal in the races... I hope he doesn't win the championship... as I'm brazilian I want Felipe Massa to win the championship and the last race is here... it will be awesome to see him winning the championship title at home!!

GO MASSA!! GO FERRARI!!

Hamilton broke the rules so he has to be punished. A deduction of 25 seconds is perhaps a bit harsh but I feel he was right to have a time penalty, but feel the 10 seconds would have been enough.

What rule did he break?? He was forced out by Kimi, then he lifted toi let Kimi back by, and after that he got back on the gas and put a move on Kimi on the next turn. He did nothing wrong. What was he supposed to do....stay off the gas till Kimi made it through the turn before he was to start going again?? Come on. Kimi was shit in the rain while LH was gaining every sector on him and everyone saw that. Just cause the FIA wants to give another title to
Ferrari and not reconized how good LH really is as a driver is just wrong. I thought this was one of the best races i've seen in some time, at leaste till i read about this later in the day and my stomach just got in knots. If this holds through, then the FIA is really a JOKE!!!!!

Hamilton was penalised after stewards decided he had gained an advantage by cutting the final chicane in his late-race battle with Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen. Raikkonen crashed out shortly after the incident, having the led the bulk of the race up to that point.

Yes he is supposed to let Kimi get through the turn before taking him on. Hamilton was gaining on Kimi regularly so he shouldn't have needed to speed up before it was required, but he didn't so he got punished.

Anyway, the 25 seconds was originally a drive-through penalty, to which Mclaren cannot appeal.

Mclaren is going to concentrate in the remaining circuits, as they can still win both drivers and constructors' championships.

As i said, He had to cut that chicane otherwise they both would have crashed out.

Hamilton let Raikonen repass him as he would have been punished if he hadnt!!

So the ruling over this incident is wrong!

Its one rule for Ferrari and another rule for the rest.

*see race before last*
