Fantastic race.

It was unfortunate that Hamilton had to retire early (it was confirmed during the down time that there was indeed damage to the suspension so the team did make the right call) but at least Button made up for it.

Now we'll have to see if this shakes Vettle up enough so that he continues to make mistakes or if he's going to get it together and continue on to be the champion.

Oh yea...and I wasn't heart broken to see Alonso having to retire. Idiot.

Vettel has nerves too ...we just found out . And a hell of a fighter named Button . Congratulations !!:hatsoff::hatsoff:

And a whiney Alonso sitting like a duck on the edge ....looooll :D:D

Petra, I think Vettel will fight like a wild devil to get his 2nd title ..I´m sure. And otherwise I´m sure, Button will hold against it . Looks like a nice race - season !
About the last race : Somehow I don´t get rid of the feeling even WITHOUT the mistake of Vettel... Button would have taken him at least on the finish-line, because Vettel was on 101% and Button + his car were in better shape, he came closer + closer with VERY big steps ... so in my eyes this goal goes to 101% to Button . Hat´s off ! :hatsoff::hatsoff:

The Grand Prix in Valencia is coming up, another city course

It will be great to watch, I think

With the first row, made of Red Bull drivers, and Hamilton right behind, next to Alonso... that is the setup for premium drama :2 cents:

Let's hope there will be some fight for the first place. I'm a bit tired of Vettel winning races so easily (Yes, I know he didn't win last time).

As you guys might have noticed.. I am a Hamilton fan.

Oh, on a side notice... Niko Rosberg really put his foot in his mouth when he told a reporter of the 'Hamburg Abendblatt' that he liked womens soccer, comparing it to the Paramympics

Wow, that is awesome.

The Women Football Worldcup starts today, hosted here in Germany

Sebastian Vettel seems pretty much unbeatable this season.

On a side note, the new tires are said to be produced that they don't peform as well as they could in order to create drama.

Well, that was a pretty damned boring race. I know Valencia isn't normally very exciting, but I thought between the tires, DRS and curs....but noooooo.

Oh well. Silverstone next race AND a new topgear tonight! YAY!

...as far as Alonso is not above Vetttel it´s a good race for me .

Thank you again Mr. Vettel ....!!:hatsoff::hatsoff:

I don't like it either. It seems too unfair for the person in front if it can't be used to defend and punishes people for doing better than the guy behind him for artificial drama.

I like the idea of it though if implemented better. I would do it similar to how the Champ Car series did it years ago where every driver had a certain number of seconds per race that was the same for everybody where they were allowed to activate a system that boost speed, and they could activate it whenever they wanted.

I believe that that was only the 4th EVER F1 GP where there were no retirements, and also the most ever number of cars to complete the race (24).

A bit of a procession though. A few bits of excitement, but not that much really.

The 3rd was Japan of this year.
