Ok a couple of thoughts, what if Lebron went too Chicago would he still be getting all this HATE? and I am Sorry too be blunt but D-Wade is NOT better than Lebron James, if you look @ all the NBA Championship teams in the past 20 years NOT 1 team had a SUPER star and NOTHING around him, every NBA Championship team is comprised of 2 or 3 All-Stars or World Class players surrounded by talented guys who have a certain role on the team and can pick up the slack and make plays when need be, lets remember Lebron turned down a $h!tload of Money approximately 30 something Million so is Lebron greedy or selfish?

I say No, just because he's so good, he had all this pressure and scrutiny to please everybody, but if he isn't happy where he was playing or will be playing, whats the sense of going through the motions if his heart isn't in it???? I think he would have stayed in Cleveland for the xtra 30 million if was about the money and NOT winning a championship...

Do I like Lebron playing in Miami with Wade and Bosh? NO not really, Are they gonna win a Championship this coming year? maybe they can If they make the right choices they've certainly got the horses. don't anybody kid yourselves despite NOT having all the piece's in place yet, this team is already Scary with the 3 headed monster, personally I think Chicago would have been the best place for Lebron too go, but that's out of my control.
:2 cents:

As Stephen Colbert put it, Lebron James has just answered the question: "W ill a man take $30 million to live in Cleveland?"

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
The first year Lebron won the MVP, Wade owned him in every major stat except rebounds. More points, more assists, more steals, more blocks, higher field goal percentage, higher 3 point percentage and higher free throw percentage. Wade is 10x the player James is.

Here's the way I see it.

Wade is a Corvette. Handles awesome, goes fast and looks nice. It has style. Wade has skills. He can slash, jump shoot, hit the 3 and defend.

Lebron is a monster truck. Just plows through his competition because they physically cannot keep up.

They're both hard to defend, but one is hard to defend because of a skill set, while one is hard to defend because of physical traits. I'll take the skilled player any day of the week. James will be truly unstoppable when he can hit an open jumpshot consistently, or get his weak free throw % above 78%.

BTW Since Wade is a 'Vette, Kobe is a Lamborghini.

Just sayin.

Well my friend you make excellent points, I agree with you most of the time, infact when you post, I feel like I am inclined to Rep you almost everytime, we think alike in allot of ways and share allot of the same opinions, but D. Wade was just a free agent @ the same time as Lebron James was, who had an hour special on ESPN? Lebron is gonna be the NEXT Micheal Jordan / Kobe Bryant... We'll see about championships, but as far as #'s and records I think Lebron will shatter them all... allot of great players, Hall of Fame Players, World Class players Never won a championship in there careers in all the professional sports league's... look @ john Stockton, or Nash, Nivensky, Mcgrady, just examples of NBA greatness not winning a championship, or what about Dan Marino in the NFL?? its all about timing and and decisions..

A player has to put himself in the best situation to win, if that means leaving a city cuz you don't think they are committed or capable to win a championship you gotta go where your best chances will be.. D. Wade has his Cred. got a championship, but when it comes down too the NUTS & BOLTS of who's better between the 2 after there careers are finished.. Lebron will be unanimous decision, Lebron is gonna be compared to the greatest of all-time, hell MJ is the best of all-time, right??? some can't even say that, that would say, Magic Johnson, or Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem... even though MJ was a Phenom of his time, there are still those who think there were better players than Micheal Jordan.. but that's the thing, opinions and #'s... Should it be based on the amount of Championships / Titles or the #'s a player puts up during his career? again some will say the #'s don't lie, and other will say the Titles are the puddin!! its all a matter of opinion, truthfully how can anybody ever be right? just sayin...
:D :dunno:

As Stephen Colbert put it, Lebron James has just answered the question: "W ill a man take $30 million to live in Cleveland?"

In a nutshell I am taking from a paragraph above that is directed solely on this issue, A player has to put himself in the best situation to win (A Championship) if it means leaving a city cuz you (the Player) doesn't think they (the Teams Owner and Management) are committed or capable to win a championship you gotta go where your best chances will be.. The $ is there they all have the $ there all Millionaires many times over, its the (Rings/Titles/World Championships) that most players covet the most. So leaving 30 million for a Ring is what Lebron and many before him and many after him will chase as long as its an option. :2 cents:

Chicago is also close to a deal with Orlando's JJ Reddick.

I truly believe that with Rose, Boozer, Noah, Deng, and Reddick plus Korver and Gibson coming off the bench the Chicago will be the most difficult team to contend with in the East next year. The scary part is the fact that they still have cash and draft picks to work with.

The argument between STDiva and Marlo is the reason why the Heat are the team to beat next season.

How in the world can any team guard the two best iso players in the league? And that still leaves Bosh. Now, the Heat just needs some spot-up shooters.

I think they'll be a top four team in the East. They will have a lot of depth this year which is something they didnt have last year when Del Negro was at times only playing seven guys. I like Redick but I would have preferred that they go after Morrow from Golden State, he's a restricted free agent and would be a better option to start than both Korver and Redick.

Looking at the deal he got from NJ, I don't think Morrow would been worth outbidding the Nets to overpay for him. I think Reddick will become better with the minutes he'll get with the Bulls. Besides, Reddick has a good basketball IQ and will do nothing but improve an already good jump shot while playing alongside Rose.

I also like the fact that the Bulls are taking care of their two biggest weaknesses from last years squad: FT shooting and interior scoring. Not only have they made improvements in those areas, but the have added to their biggest strength: Rebounding. I don't think Chicago is done wheeling and dealing, and other soon-to-be FA's and players with ETO's are gonna be looking very closely at The Windy City in the coming year.

The same way you guard Kobe and Shaq in 2004. Let them score and shut down everybody else.

I still think a good team with a solid defensive philosophy will shit them down no problem. I.E Boston. But we'll just have to wait and see.

The Net's offer for Morrow is 3 years/$12 million. The Bulls have around 15 million in cap space with the signings of Boozer and Korver, so they easily could have put forth an offer of say 3 years/$18 million and still have some cap space to operate with.

If they sign Redick, which doesnt look likely since Orlando is probably going to match the Bulls offer, the Bulls will have a little more than $9 million left in cap space.

Yeah... that was after they won 3 titles.

The only thing that truly concerns me about the Heat is their bench. Who in the hell is gonna to sub in for Wade and Lebron? :dunno: Pat has his work cut out for him.

I think the salary cap next year will be $58 million. The Big 3 in Miami have to be gobbling up at least $50 million of that. That leaves $8 million for the remaining 9 players. Good luck filling out the rest of your roster, Miami.

League sources have told NY Daliy news that Pat Riley. will at some point replace Eric Spoelstra as head coach of the heat.

Maybe he's trying to reach Phil Jackson :dunno:

Scumbag Riley has 6 rings

The LBJ, Bosh, and Wade trio will not only have to adjust to playing together, but also try to trust their grossly unproven teammates. In order for them to win a ring, the role players have to do just that... play their roles. People keep comparing them to Bostons Big 3, and how they one a ring, but the Heat are nothing like that. Boston's role players stepped better than team in the leagues at that time.

Rondo: Played the role of distributor and disruptor
Posey: Played energy tough defender very well from the bench
E. House: 3pt specialist coming off the bench
Powe: Big body/Offensive rebounder

Let's face it, the Heat do not have a team. It's a long 82 game season... too long to only have three guys able to win games for you. All 3 of them can not play all 48 mins of every game, and that's what they'll need them to do based on the other players they have. Oh, and God forbid anyone of those guys gets banged up during the year. And now, with no draft picks for the foreseeable future, there is no way out of this in the event of the whole thing not working. When you're talking about winning a ring you'll need all these things to come together. I just think they are way too many holes in the Heat right now.

Pat Riley is such a piece of shit. I hope he's never able to hire another coach again. Why would a coach want to go there after the way he's treated them. Despicable.

I think Miami will get about as far as Cleveland did with LeBron...I think there will always be a better team out of the west. I don't see the Lakers dropping off for a couple years.

They don't need to drop off to be vulnerable.
I mean it's not like they were a dominant force last year. They lost 25 regular season games and there were seven other western conference teams with 50 or more wins. OKC gave them a good run for their money in the conference playoffs, as did Phoenix. The Celtics had them dead and buried until the 4th quarter of game 7. Artest will be a year older, a year slower, and likely not as hungry this coming year. I'm a Laker fan but as an objective observer I just don't think this team is all that great. If Miami can build any kind of supporting cast around the big three a Lakers 3 peat looks very unlikely to me.
