Hmm. I don't know why I thought it was 5 games. Either way, close games don't make a fluke.
Front office has given Mike Brown plenty of talent to work with. 4 players that were in the all star game last year were on the Cavs this year. If it's not Browns fault for not pulling them together, than whose fault is it?
Brown has produced...His first season he took the Cavs from not making the playoffs to almost defeating the defending champ. The next season he defeated the defending conf. champ and took them to the finals.
What does the front office do? Promptly go out and add 4 new players (only one of which is still with the team now...West) and they get beat in the second round.
They added Mo Williams the next season and finished that season with the best record.
They finished this season with the best record.
Just because they haven't won NBA Championships doesn't mean Brown hasn't done a good job.
He's done an excellent job when you consider the turnover he's been dealt and making those parts work together.
They could have actually done better this season if they wouldn't have added Shaq. Who's fault is that??
This is just another case of a person getting none of the glory most of the time and all of the blame all of the time.:2 cents:
Series are flukes to me when they could have gone either way and the favorite loses.
