NBA '09/'10 Season Thread

Like I said...you must not actually watch the games. Orlando won the series 4-2 and 3 games could have gone either way in that series...2 of which Orlando won.

Orlando was a few plays away from having a 3 games to 1 lead on the Lakers..but still lost the series 4-1.

Hmm. I don't know why I thought it was 5 games. Either way, close games don't make a fluke.

Front office has given Mike Brown plenty of talent to work with. 4 players that were in the all star game last year were on the Cavs this year. If it's not Browns fault for not pulling them together, than whose fault is it?

Brown has produced...His first season he took the Cavs from not making the playoffs to almost defeating the defending champ. The next season he defeated the defending conf. champ and took them to the finals.

What does the front office do? Promptly go out and add 4 new players (only one of which is still with the team now...West) and they get beat in the second round.

They added Mo Williams the next season and finished that season with the best record.

They finished this season with the best record.

Just because they haven't won NBA Championships doesn't mean Brown hasn't done a good job.

He's done an excellent job when you consider the turnover he's been dealt and making those parts work together.

They could have actually done better this season if they wouldn't have added Shaq. Who's fault is that??

This is just another case of a person getting none of the glory most of the time and all of the blame all of the time.:2 cents:

Series are flukes to me when they could have gone either way and the favorite loses.

Well Phoenix still can't play D. L.A put up 128 on them. The Lakers bench actually played good. That's a good surprise. Odom put up 19 points and 19 rebounds. :D

We'll be waiting Yumi!!!

This was the missing piece for the Cavs.

Cleveland needed someone who could hit a big shot, if not to win the game then to stop the momentum of the opponent...Where are you Big Shot Rob??

I'm pulling for the Suns. But I just can't see it happening.

Other Lopez brother did well. I'm high on him, but I think Phoenix's best chance is going small with Frye and creating mismatches with Bynum on the floor. Cuz there's no way in hell Phoenix will beat LA straight up. Similar to how Orlando beat Cleveland last year with Rashard.

yeah odom was a beast last night la played great they are destin to go to the finals

Hopefully Orlando and Boston beat each other up in a long 7 game series. The Celtics are starting to scare me. Orlando was already scary.

Yea I hear u STDiva about the hated celts... they have been looking like the 07/08 team when they punk my beloved lakers:mad: with that sick ass defense but we want them anyways... Payback a bitch:thumbsup:

CHAMPS looked great here in LA last night classic kobe in the 3rd and odom 19 & 19 gasol did his thang too... Drew still looks hurt playing as if he is 40 years old when he is 22 and and 5 years in {we might need to look at trade options in the off season for him} I want say bring on the hated celts just yet i do think the suns have at lease one win in them and i hope the magic beat the hated celts tonight and take them to 7 while we get rid of the suns in 5

:glugglug:

Bring either of those teams on. If the Magic want it again, they can come get it. And the Celtics? We owe them one for sure.

If the Lakers continue to play the way they have been (See Utah series, and Game 1 of the Conf. Finals) no one can stop them. If they continue this type of play and intensity, the only thing I'm concerned about is that we only have 7 Lakers games left to watch this season :(

Lakers vs Celtics would make the networks Happy for sure. I'm more likely to watch that matchup

to bad the Wizards got the First Pick that's a horrible place for John Wall to go to. I hope he has his firearms permit

Is it too early to say Boston is going to the Finals again?

Ha ha ha...I'd say after that epic Bruins meltdown it's way too early in Boston to say that, but I'm pretty confident the Celtics will close this one out in style.

For Boston, for Boston, we sing our proud refrain...

i dont know what to say im shocked i cant even believe that the magic are down 0-2 going to boston .
i have very little hope magic will go to the finals now i thinks its over for them.
boston was a sleeping gaint and guess what they are awake now

We (meaning the Magic) will win Game 3. I guarantee it.

We have always been a good road team. Boston has struggled at home this year. We looked out of it last year down 3-2. I wouldn't be surprised if we won 3 straight.

It's not over.

Lakers drop 124 on Phoenix.

The Suns just can't play defense. Amare talked some shit after game 1 saying Odom's 19 pts and 19 rbs were luck. Well Odom put up 17-11 again. Off the bench. Maybe Amare should learn how to rebound and play some defense before he runs his mouth again. Chump.
