The report is fascinating reading...lots of talk of shuttling drugs, copies of checks from actual players...

Shocked for Roger Clemens to now become the face of this Scandal...

I think it's funny that most of those people don't even play anymore.

knows petras secret: she farted.
i havent watched baseball in quite a few years now, but used to love it. but my question is wtf is going on? didnt barry bonds get busted for steroids and shit and nothing is happening? he still holds the record and shit, right? personally, i think the guy is a total douche bag asshole setting records under the influence of enhancement drugs.

this is the kind of shit that makes me not want to get back into the sport.

I would like to thank everyone on this list for doing everything they could to entertain me

Why Andy Pettitte why?!?! My favorite Yankee of the last decade and he is on the list. This is a very sad day.

Lots of Yankees. Lots of Red Sox. Are we watching the complete collapse of Major League Baseball?:dunno:

Selig just said he would "look to penalize" active players on a "case by case basis"...

I can't wait to see the Union Press conference after that bombshell. I'm sure they're going to come out laying blame on Selig, the fans, Balco, basically anyone and everyone they can think of...

Get the popcorn ready folks...this story is grand entertainment!!

How anyone can be shocked by this is unbelievable.

Do you think the owners knew what was going on?I think they probably did don't you? That leads me to what did George Bush(remember he was president of the Texas rangers once) know and when did he know it?

I think it's stupid that the MLB is the sport that is suffering from this "let's make an example" case of steroid allegations. You mean to tell me that the NFL, NBA or even the NHL doesn't have athletes that take/have taken steroids? Come on...let these guys play.

If it wasn't made so God damned public, nobody would care if a small percentage of athletes took steroids. It's common sense that it's going to happen anyway. Leave these guys alone...especially the athletes that don't even play anymore.

I think the worst part is that none of these players have been proven guilty of taking illegal steroids, yet their careers are pretty much already fucked because their names are being tarnished just so "Senator Steroids" can make a name for himself.

Personally seeing Roger Clemens name on the list brings a smile to my face. He's just like Bonds, an all around record setter and a total douche bag.

The two most statistically accomplished players in the game today (Bonds and Clemens) both on steroids. Sad.

I hope they've got nuts the size of tiny pebbles thanks to the juice.

Most of the bigger names on that list have had rumors about steroids whether true or not in the past so it isn't totally surprising.

I notice Sosa isn't on it.

Or McGuire,That list I guess should be called a partial list at best. The ones like McGuire and Bonds as well as Giambi were I thought very noticeable the way they were like transformed physically into hulks from normal men.No doubt to me the majority of players were doing it.There's just to much tough competetion to be MLB player to let the other guys have an edge like that. And no doubt it is/was rampant in football as well IMO.

In other sports you get caught doing drugs you get banned for a period or you get banned for life are these people going to get banned

I don't think they will, not all of them. It doesn't indicate when some of them did them. They weren't always banned and they probably don't have concrete proof that some of the people on the list have done them either.

I foresee a rise in viewership of college baseball and Little League World Series play. Why? Because the playing field is less tainted. OR all baseball fans (Me included) should wipe the "It's a Grand Old Game - Ken Burns Documentary - The Game is a Religion" mentality and realize its not that anymore... The Boston Red Sox won the Series, TWICE, so you know the game has changed...
