Dan Miragliotta needs to be stopped. He's just not ready to be deciding the fate of fighter's careers. This is the reason Big John quit. Too many people getting screwed over by terrible refs and terrible judges. This isn't 1996 anymore and people's livelihoods are at stake. I've seen worse stoppages than Vera/Werdum (like everything from Elite on cbs) but that's not the point. A little consistancy is all I ask. Yves Lavigne & Herb Dean should be doing all UFC fights. That's kinda funny because a few years ago, everyone was saying the same things about Herb.
PS - Nathan Marquardt was playing dirty fucking pool last night. Guess I'd rather watch him do that than his usual lay'n'pray though.

Yeah i fuckin **** him. My buddy actually likes Swick and we give him hell for it. I like at the end of the 3rd round. He was on top of Davis lay'n & Prayin' but he actually looked like he was swimming on top with him with his stupid ass punches he was throwing.

Be careful with the answer. Remember it was a Catchweight bout. I still see him as dominant over Matt Hughes (that was a sweet knee KO!) but I wonder how he fits in the WW rankings. I hope he won't have problems making weight next time. I read somewhere it was some sort of medical reason that kept him from making weight.

his post fight interview he said he hurt his ankle and couldn't get the best workout/practice/training to get to the weight.
he apologized several times. he didn't miss weight by much. i think if it was a 170 lb. fight he weighed in at 174 lbs.
that is what i don't understand these guys weight in on friday and their weight is not the same by fight time.they have said it on the ULTIMATE FIGHTER that as long as they make weight the day of the weigh in they can gain 2-15 lbs after that day.

Have you heard the UFC are planning to run a free live event on Spike TV at the same time to rival the Affliction show.
The rumor is that Wanderlei Silva and Brandon Vera are going to headline at 205.
I think that's the weight Vera is should be fighting at so i'll be interested to see what happens.

Looks like it's pretty much official that Anderson Silva will go up to 205 and fight James Irvin going head-to-head with the Affliction PPV. Silva will apparently still defend the MW again later in the year. Probably won't be much of a fight (more of a showcase for The Spider really) but it's going to hurt Affliction nonetheless.
Sure, Hardcores will still order the PPV but anyone on the fence is going to keep their $50 and watch UFC for free. And there's not enough hardcore fans out there to get anything over 50k PPV buys, no matter who's fighting.

he talked candidly about UFC fighters.
~he said tito is an asshole and really isn't that great of a fighter and really tried to use the UFC and fighting to move into movies and become somewhat famous.
~he said Tito crys poverty but says that he made 6.3 million 2 years ago in the UFC.
~he said the dispute between him and tito, is tito being an asshole and making things personal.
~he said he does not respect tito.
~he said tito was afraid to fight Chuck again and always had an excuse to not fight certain guys.
~he said he does respect Randy Couture and is working on having him return to the UFC and he understands randy's issues with the company.
~he said Fedor is over hyped and has fought nobody since 2005 and he tried to get him to join the UFC. Fedors agents were more concerned about what the UFC could do for them than what the UFC could do for and with Fedor.
his agents wanted the UFC to build an arena in Russia!
~a publicist cuts in during the interview and says that there is 1 more minute that O&A have with dana....dana then says "what?"....."NO! these guys have me for as long as they want!" :bowdown:

~ they asked about Brock Lesnar and Dana said that when he was in negotiations with Brock he said that these are the best fighters in the world not WWE actors. and Brock said he wants to fight only the Best in the world if he can't do that then he doesn't want fight at all than.
~Dana said that these other companies trying to get into the "fighting game" don't realize how much work goes into running and organization. he said "you don't get 2 fighters an octagon ring and proclaim that you are in the MMA/fighting business"
~dana said that the other companies are putting guys like Kimbo as their headliners....but putting them up against "bums". he said that they had Lesnar join the UFC and put him up against a former UFC world champ Frank Mir not some "bum" and the other fighters really gave alot of respect to Lesnar for fighting top guys and not "bums". he said brock will be a huge ***** in Due time.

He Proclaimed the UFC in 5-8 years will be the Biggest sport in the world.
bigger than the NFL bigger than european soccer bigger than the Super Bowl.
he said that the NFL tries to expand it's game to europe but they don't understand it because they have Soccer. it's like trying to get cricket understood here in the US. he said 2 guys fighting in any country in any language gets everyones attention because it's a primal instinct. everyone loves fighting.

~ he plugged the Tv Show "ultimate fighter" plugged the July 5th PPV. and even invited O&A to the show just let him know and they will be taken care of,which they immediatly accepted and asked him to send his private jet to get them. :1orglaugh
~and that was about it. just an FYI when that publicist broke in and said 1 more minute....Dana told him "i'll talk to these guys for as long as they want".........he was on the air for another 20+ minutes after that publicist cut in!!!! really cool guy (but i always liked dana) he was funny with his cursing also! how this guy would "beat the **** outta this guy" and "how this guy fucked up that guy".

Ultimate Fighter Finale last night.
i am glad (as usual!) another fighter got kicked off the show for being a ****** fucking stupid ass dickhead. Jesse....what an asshole.
dana said for him to get his head straight and call him in a few months. i hope this guys disappears into oblivion. he doesn't deserve to be on the show or anywhere near the UFC or an octagon.
now that i have said that i know he will be one of the fights on the Live show on Saturday!
i have to say this season these fighters were really GREEN!
i never saw so much non understanding or listening to the coaches.
these guys would keep pulling guard on guys when they were behind in a fight and just lay on the mat. Get to your FUcking Feet! your losing!
Amir pulled one outta his ass!
and CB dalloway is not winning if he continues to (A.) get gassed by the mid 2nd round (B.) or keeps trying that same roundhouse right. all i heard was Rampage saying "jab,jab" and CB doesn't listen.
CB isn't a finisher either. he also says your gonna see the real CB before every fight and i keep seeing the SAME CB.
i think AMIR will be the winner.
