I must be crazy to be responding to this but what the hell:

First off I respect Petra for taking on the challenge of running a contest like this. It requires a huge amount of effort and I know she wanted this to be a great experience for everyone. Unfortunately the whole thing got botched. She could have shown the members some respect and admitted that there have been mistakes made but instead she chose to get defensive when the inevitable criticism arrived at her door. Threatening to ban members for voicing their objections or speaking their mind is not the answer and I was hoping for better.

P.S. All bans are temporary Petra, since it only takes about ten minutes to create a new account.

I agree with you bro I think banning members for speaking their mind is too harsh, but there has been a lot of fighting and flaming going around which need to stop for someone get hurt. Reading many of the SCM post make me wonder if they will do something to each other IRL, its scary. Oh God i hope not. So, Petra idea of banning members could be a good thing indeed.
oh, if you know how to bypass the ISP ban then good luck with making a new account if you get banned.

BTW this thread is better than TV i love waking up to this thread.

Deauxma, Mariah did not once post anything negative about you at all until you jumped her. I also didn't see anyone on here name names when they said a "90 year old" lady. I read Nikki's posting and she did not say any names.

Nikki and Mariah are sharing their thoughts and feelings on the contest. They should not get attacked for that. Unless they come right out and say your name, you have no idea who they are talking about. I know it is getting close to the end of this round, and it is close for a few people.

Vicky I also see where you are coming from. Some people have said so rude things about you in this thread that was uncalled for. I also know that you have had some issues in other contests. I have no issue with MILFS in porn. In fact a lot of the ladies in their 20's and 30's have kids. They just don't use the MILF label yet. Hell I respect anyone that can stick around in this crazy business for years. More power to you.

I was serious when I said the ladies in porn need to unite, not fight. We already have enough people that hate us for being naked on the internet. We need to stop attacking each other and start working together. Everyone just chill out.

Jane, I must admit that I knew nothing of you before this contest. I didn't start voting for you (fessing up to errors in judgement is hard) until the first round was already past the midpoint. I must say though that you are one of the most level headed, intelligent and beautiful people around. I could say that about you even if I had never seen a picture of you and had to go by what I've seen in your posts. It was suggested that you be a moderator and in my mind you already are one. Thanks for taking all the time that you do for us third class steerage.

As I said before, I know that not everyone can be pleased. There will always be people who aren't happy with how things are. I'm OK with this. What I'm not OK with is the shit slinging between members and the outright hostile enviroment this thread has become.

If people can't learn how to debate or criticise without resorting to name calling or outright flaming then they don't need to be here. I'd never have had to step in if people could conduct themselves as an adult on an ADULT board.

This is the last I'm writing about any of this. As far as I'm concerned from here on out it's water under the bridge. If people want to continue trudging through the muck so be it. It's not like there haven't been warnings put out there.
