Alyssa Michelle Stephens (born December 22, 1998), known professionally as Mulatto, is an American rapper. She is known for being the inaugural winner of the Premium Link Upgrade reality series Premium Link Upgrade . Premium Link Upgrade Mulatto's breakthrough occurred with her 2019 single, "Bitch from da Souf", and consequently she signed to Premium Link Upgrade . In August 2020, the song reached the Premium Link Upgrade , peaking at number 95. After releasing a remix of the song with rappers Premium Link Upgrade and Premium Link Upgrade , Mulatto released the follow up single, " Premium Link Upgrade " featuring Premium Link Upgrade , in 2020. Both songs were included on Mulatto's debut album via RCA Records titled, Premium Link Upgrade , released on August 21, 2020.

Alyssa Michelle Stephens was born in Premium Link Upgrade on December 22, 1998 to Misti Pitts and Shayne Stephens. She moved to Georgia at the age of 2. She was raised in Premium Link Upgrade , on the south side of Atlanta, where she attended Premium Link Upgrade . She dropped out of school to focus on her music career. Prior to doing music, she participated in drag racing. Premium Link Upgrade Stephens started rapping and writing her own raps at the age of ten. In 2016, Stephens became a contestant on the Lifetime reality series Premium Link Upgrade , produced by Premium Link Upgrade and Premium Link Upgrade . The boot camp-style series followed young aspiring rappers in a competition against one another over a span of eight weeks. Mulatto, under the stage name "Miss Mulatto" at the time, was the overall winner of the competition. She was offered a recording contract from Dupri with Premium Link Upgrade but ultimately turned down the deal claiming it wasn't enough money, opting to be an independent artist. Premium Link Upgrade
Stephens released her first single, "No More Talking," in February 2016. She collaborated with Lil Niqo, a fellow competitor from The Rap Game, on the 2016 single "Tough on the Internet." She also won the Youth Hip Hop/R&B Award at the 2016 Georgia Music Awards. She released her first mixtape, Miss Mulatto on October 2, 2016.
Stephens' second mixtape, "Latto Let Em Know", was released in April 2017. The tape featured artists like ***** Brazy, Lil Key, Crucial, and Premium Link Upgrade . The single "Response Diss" is a diss song directed toward Young Lyric, a fellow competitor from The Rap Game. The ongoing feud between the two resulted in diss tracks from both parties with insults about **** use, homosexuality, and past experiences from the show. Premium Link Upgrade Stephens has also worked with Premium Link Upgrade , Premium Link Upgrade , Premium Link Upgrade , and Premium Link Upgrade . Stephens closed out 2017 with an EP, Time and Pressure.
In 2018, Stephens changed her stage name to the mononym, Mulatto, and consequently released the self-titled mixtape of the same name that year.

Mulatto received praise for her single "Bitch from da Souf," released in January 2019. In May 2019, she was invited to perform at Rolling Loud, an annual rap festival in Premium Link Upgrade . Mulatto then revealed the release of her single titled " Premium Link Upgrade ", featuring Gucci Mane, which was released on July 30.
